The creators said they wanted to do one "issue" episode this year. They thought about doing abortion, but went with gun control. They should have done both in one episode - the flashbacks deal with abortion and the present day with gun control.

This guy just shot up the mayor's office with a uniform from a 6 year old company no longer open and he uses the same uniform to just walk into a hospital

Was about to get pissed. Thought we were getting lectured. Then they bust out with the gun was acquired illegally and registration wouldn't have prevented it. Can't believe they actually did that

I liked how the compromise solution was a vague gun control/freedom act that would reduce gun violence but not hinder the sale, possession or use of guns for self defense.
And not a single arrow was shot the entire episode. That's got to be a first.

I haven't watched a single episode since Felicity punched Laurel in the face. 
These DC tv universe shows as a whole are kinda wearing thin on me to be honest.

Over the last two episodes, he's only been in the Arrow suit in one scene, and that was threatening the hanging guy.
It's like, we are not watching these episodes to see the tremendous acting. Punch somebody in the face, shoot an arrow!

Wow that's true, last week was the Bratva stuff. I still hanging on to this show. The Prometheus stuff is really drawn out though

It's funny that they're all upset about seven deaths with a scary assault rifle so let's do gun control. When there are routinely more deaths than that every week by bow and arrow.
