Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere on this board but I wonder what the deal is with the emphasis on the color red when flashing back. It was done in the first trailer as well.

I can't imagine that it's random.

I honestly think they just use that because it's flashbacks and they're using the Marvel Studios 10 Year Logo colors.

They should show some teenage boy about to lose his virginity and then the girl just disappears in front of him.

There is infinite unseen horror in this film. They could've gone for an NC-17 and had audiences screaming their guts out.

Didn't we already have the conversation about the times after ant man and the wasp?

No shots of Pepper as Rescue yet and we know she suits up so Tony either has to make it back to Earth and build her the suit or he already made it and she finds it while he’s gone.
Tony is in the last shot with them all wearing the new suits

Well, red is the color of the Aethyr/Reality Stone....

Yeah, that's the road I'm going down here. I keep thinking about the Strange and Stark exchange in the Sanctum at the beginning of IW where Tony asks Strange what exactly he does and Strange says "Protecting your reality, douche bag.". Then I think about the 14,000,605 possible future timelines and can't get it out of my mind that Dr. Strange is noticeably absent from the trailer today. There's got to be something to that.

I hope they aren't simply going back in time to reverse the snap.
I hope they are going through alternate realities like the Sliders tv show etc with maybe time travel as well.

For instance they go back to the Battle of New York, but not Earth 616 but another Earth where the Avengers lost. This time however, they win and completely wreck Loki again, this time with Ant Man and Cap Marvel.

Or they go to WWII and fight the Skull in an alt timeline to get the Tesserect, and completely destroy Hydra and Nazi Germany. It wouldn't affect what happened in First Avenger cause it's an alt reality.

Maybe Cap stays in this timeline with Peggy after they reverse the snap.

It's not just him. Every single character who was dusted is nowhere to be seen in the trailer, except to show them turning to dust.

Until recently I didn’t remember that the term Endgame had been used earlier in the MCU. Tony said it to Bruce during Age of Ultron.

I’ve read some things that think Tony’s BARF tech shown in Civil War may come into play to somehow trick Thanos.

Oh, let's continue to play that game.

They prevent the Hong Kong and London Sanctorums from being destroyed but take the Eye of Agamotto.

They prevent Malekith from getting the Aethyr. (he shows up to an empty vault)

Yondu gets the power stone first, but they give him something better.

Cool.

Wasn't the Tesserect on Asgard in Ragnarok? So the Avengers go there, encounter and fight Surtur and Hela, saving that Asgard from destruction. Or at least they give them a hell of a fight.

They show Falcon, Black Panther(well they show him dusting near Okoye), Scarlet Witch with Vision lying next to her and Cap touching the ground where Bucky dusted.

They don't show Strange, Spider-man, any of the Guardians.

That could open up huge cans of worms. Each remaining Avenger has suffered tremendous loss but none on the scale of Thor. His home planet is gone. If they are capable of doing that wouldn’t Thor want to take the entire team back to frick Hela up before Asgard goes boom.

They haven't shown any scenes on any planet other than Earth so far.

The only way to kill Hela was to destroy Asgard. As long as Asgard was still standing, she drew her power from it. Thor was the one who made the call to raise Surtur.

Korg overestimated how strong the foundation was.

I realize Thor made the call. Seriously though the only way to defeat Hela was to destroy Asgard or is that just what the prophecy said? That would make her pretty much the most powerful being in the MCU if the only way to stop her is to Death Star an entire planet.

She flat out boasted that, "as long as Asgard remains, you can't beat me".

I didn't mean to say that he was absent with new footage of him. I just meant there weren't any callbacks considering the role he played in IW.

Yes, but what if they more you change major events, the more fragile time and the universe becomes? So Thor would have to choose to save Asgard and still losing half its population during the snap or just reversing the snap and saving the universe but still losing Asgard.
