Yeah it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns…that would have been patently dishonest.
Some people had a nice wrap up and some didn’t. Some deserved it and some didn’t.
So while it wrapped up nicely it still stayed true to form without pandering.

Because onee writer was a lifelong Baltimore homicide detective, and the other was a lifelong Baltimore investigative journalist.
They even had to tone down some real events, because they figured the reality would be to unbelievable.
For example Omar jumped from the 3rd floor balcony to avoid the hit, wrecking his leg. The guy Omar was based on jumped from the 7th floor balcony.
