Yeah it was a good episode. It didn't have all the action that we enjoy, but if the show was all action people would be bitching about lack of character development.
Oh we get it people, you don't like Skylar.
That being said, something I wanted to touch on from last night's episode is that IF Walt wanted to kill Skylar now, he could make it look like a suicide and no one would be really surprised.
Also, Vince Gilligan is teasing the shite out of is showing us Skylar smoking again and more often and having us think about the poison Walt has hidden.
Anyone else notice it looked like she was ashing in a coffee mug that said 51 on it so it was probably a birthday gift to Walt from Jr. No big deal, just a small detail I noticed.
Oh and to those worried about Mike being followed, have you not noticed Mike is always a step ahead? He won't get caught that easy.
Lastly, Mike knowing to the minute that the DEA was about to show up at Madrigal was interesting. Does he really have someone on the inside of the DEA like some have speculated or did he just have a guy watching the building there in Houston where Lydia works?

Skylar is who she is but this Lydia woman needs to calm the heck down. I mean, she is having a nervous breakdown everytime she is on screen. At some point you'd think Mike would check her and tell her to get it together.

Good point. I didn't think about that.

I think he has someone working inside the DEA. Crazy to think about.

Exactly. Move on, people.

Told my wife the same thing last night, but that's actually easier said than done with modern technology.

He's going to use this sooner or later, but on whom?

I noticed this, too. I took it as a big F.U. to Walt.

Mike has a mole in the DEA...

...and I think it's Gomez.

I loved this episode. It may have been my favorite so far this season. It seems slow, but It has to be, IMO. Some people see the show ending as a plane crashing out of the sky, but I see it more as something starving to death. It's slow, steady, and gets worse and worse with time. Things are happening that there's no coming back from, so timing is important.
On a side note, I'm interested to see if Walt finally kills someone simply because it brings him gain. You could argue that with everyone that he has either killed or tried to kill so far, it was done so that they wouldn't kill him, Jesse, or his family.
I think Walt killing someone just out of anger, revenge, etc... would be the final step in him breaking bad. I keep thinking he is there, but I'm just not sure.

How many times has Mike broken his "no more half measures" pledge?

It's either going to be Mike or Skyler.

Agreed! I wasn't aware they were splitting the episdoes, even thought it is a long season. Damn you, Gilligan!

Seriously I don't understand this. Maybe it's a way to get more viewers? Are they done filming?

Yes, filming is complete. I don't understand the wait, either. I guess it's based on the Emmy season.

I don't buy this. If he had a mole, he would not have been asking all of those questions about the tracking device. He would have already known about it or would have told Jesse and Walt by now. Like I said earlier, I think there are some DEA agents being paid off by a higher up at Madrigal.

Maybe he doesn't want Walt and Jesse to know for whatever reason? It's not like Walt/Jesse/Mike are always completely honest with one another.

Maybe Walt will go frick with Ted periodically and keep asking him if he's ready to die. That would be cool.
A la Gus and Uncle Tio????

Maybe it was that girl, whose name i forget, that is helping them steal the chemical barrells, put it there? Like a "fake bug" to get them away from here?

Maybe I'm hallucinating but I thought this was the explanation that Mike gave. Hence the tracking device was easily visible and they only checked one barrel.

Yeah Mike obviously has almost no trust for Walt. And this plan of working with him was pretty much a last resort.

Mike only gave her a very short heads up. Probably because he was sitting in a car somewhere watching. Its what he does.

I think Walt could actually do it. He's a total psychopath now. I'm sure Skyler was so reassured of their safety after Walt related his heart-warming story about Jesse recently pointing a gun between his eyes, only to come around and give him a nice birthday present. Hell, Walt should have gone whole hog and told her he poisoned a child to do it, but he came out OK, and it was for family anyway, so it's all good, man. What normal, sane person wouldn't sleep like a baby after hearing all that? Skyler's such a ridiculous bitch!

Jesse said he hopped on a plane and had a 14 hr drive back from the warehouse.
I sincerly doubt Mike just randomly decided to show up and sit in a car the day the DEA showed up considering it's way way out the way.

Walt is not a psychopath by any means. He is just a ball of anger, greed and ego.
