They are a different genre of food than a fried seafood Poboy. If you can get past that, it’s not that hard to understand the love.

Most pickled stuff is great with bbq. I love jalapeños with brisket. They compliment each other well.

I get HBO Max for free with my AT&T cell phone plan. I wonder what this means for me.
I used to get it. But they discontinued this promotion.

If you have to have this little caveat thrown in, you’re talking about a shithole.
Call it whatever you want. Shitholes don’t usually have redeeming qualities IMO.

Dirty 6th is complete trash and dangerous any time of the day. I’d stay away. Honestly, I’d stay away from downtown completely.
It’s safer than the French quarter. As others have said, stay away if it is past midnight or so. That’s when all the trash comes out.

Somebody can tell me if I’m just hearing things, but is that officer asking him what his pronouns are while they’re sanding next to a dead mass shooter suspect?
You are hearing things. He said “what’s your _____ Address?” Maybe “home”? You can here the guy respond with what sounds like a street address.
Why are these people just sitting on the floor in that video, toward the second half of it. I don’t get it? Wouldn’t you want to be alert and ready to run away, get cover, protect yourself? Just very odd behavior.

What side of 6th St is the Mothership and other comedy clubs located?
Mostly between red river and congress, know as “dirty 6th”. This shooting was in a different area.

Was trying to find the Jesuit brother Martin game on the LHSAA app but it’s not on there? What gives?
You can only get the LHSAA Network app on Amazon fire stick, Roku, or Apple TV. The iOS app, “LHSAA live”, is not the same thing. It’s retarded how they have it set up. But I watched the Division 3 boys game and I was pretty impressed with the coverage. Decent commentary and they did instant replays of big plays.

I used to put black cats and M80s in ant piles and crawfish piles. Was fun as hell!
fricking stupid. These are college kids. Why waste time on this? How about we fire all the woke professors instead?

Depends on the career, some college is an absolute necessity.
No. Tradesmen do very well without college. It would be a waste of their time and money to do “some college.”
If you meant “trade school”, then yes.

Oertling knew and coached those kids from 10 years old. I’d give him partial credit for this one.
Oertling coached youth teams? I wasn't aware of that.
Regardless, the team had not even been to the State Championship game in 9 years, and 7 of those 9 years were under Oertling, and last year's team only made it to the quarter finals. Are we also going to give Oertling credit for that? Or only when the team does well? The new coach took over a team that had been floundering for nearly a decade. I think it's pretty obvious that he is a big reason why they performed so well, because he is the main difference between this year and the prior years.
And I'm not trying to diminish Oertling. His run will likely never be topped. But something definitely changed after 2017, be it the style of the game or whatever else.

It’s their coach’s first year too. What a fast turnaround.

St Louis upsets U High 1-0 to reclaim the state championship for the first time in almost a decade.
I imagine it's going to be a lot like Fuller House - the adults / caretakers are not the caretakers any more and the grown kids are now in that role. You still saw Bog Saget, Stamos, Coullier, Loughlin, but it was only every few episodes, and they came in to just visit or give some advice. Dr. Cox and Kelso (after this season) will likely be in similar roles I would think.
Do companies really do overnight retreats? Sounds awful.

He practiced the Popeyes joke at the Harland show and it was slightly longer if I recall correctly.
It was pretty good. I feel like the Popeye's buffet is maybe a little too niche for a show like KT. Overall, the bit got laughs...I thought it was funny and laughed, but it would probably get more laughs from a south Louisiana crowd due to the local lore of the Popeyes buffet known amongst those that live or lived in South LA..

Has the average person heard of Vampire Weekend? I’m gonna a say no. Sure they have had 3 top albums, but they certainly aren’t a household name outside of music snobs. That’s what I was suggesting. Has the average person never heard or vaguely heard of your favorite band?
I don’t think you are right about this. I think most people between 21-50 have heard of Vampire Weekend. They play arenas…you kind of have to be popular to fill places that big.
Built to Spill. They should be way more popular.
