What do y'all make of the ticking watch a the end of this past episode? Perhaps a sign that time is running out on Walt?

seems like that's what they are wanting to convey. Walt's been on borrowed time the whole show however.

I was thinking the same, his time is almost up. I don't think he will die in the end though, too obvious. I wonder if the poison Walt gave the little boy will come up again.

I wonder if the irony in the end to this show is that Walt actually hurts his family (thereby they die) than actually provide for them. Walt is then left alone, having broke bad and won nothing but lost everything.

Mike called Walt a ticking time bomb. Now he really is ticking. Just wonder what the "explosion" will be.

I've thought the same thing. He sets out to provide for his family, but loses them either to them leaving or death, and he dies alone like Michael Corleone.

I would not have a problem at all with that ending.

I could see that, I wonder if the weapon he is purchasing in the first episode is him going on a suicide mission to protect everyone close to him by killing all of those involved.

I think this might be the type of deal where EVERYONE dies but Walt.

Jesse, Walt Jr, Skylar, Hank, Marie, Mike, all of them.

Just Walt going out in a blaze of glory at the end or staying alive, only to be in complete solitude.

I feel like most people believe Walt is going to die, though. At least that's the feeling I get.

I'm anxious to see what Walt does with that M-60.

Walt cannot take on Mike in a gun fight because he would be slaughtered. I think the show has firmly established that point. Walt may poison Mike or blow him up but he is not going to kill him in any kind of stand off.

Everyone thinks hes gonna die. He probably won't. I hope he's all alone in the end.

Or my Departed-style ending where Walt goes home and finds Mike (who he believes to be dead) and pew pew pew Mike walks out and the camera stays stationary as he drives off, with Walt's corpse in the foreground. Then "Created by Vince Gilligan"

friend brought up something the other day that got me thinking.

he said Jesse = the protagonist of the show and Walt = the antagonist

I thought it was the other way around?

so you're saying they switched roles. what/when do you say was the catalyst/turning point?

When Jesse stopped saying "yo" after every other word.
