Haha, how in the world do you know? You've avoided seeing a lot of good shite based on a few sentences.

Keep watching. Each season is better than the previous one.
Every single person who watched breaking bad said season one was meh but everyone comes back and says it the greatest thing sliced bread. The characters other than 2 are downright terrible.

How can you make this definitive assessment after only seeing season 1
?

Parks and Recs keeps getting better. Dunno about BB.

I know because most of what I choose to watch I end up enjoying.

You're the one not making sense. Saying that the best way to find tv shows and movies to watch is to seek out what doesn't interest me.
I've seen hundreds of shows and thousands of movies. I think I can determine for myself at this point what looks good to me and what doesn't.
But thanks for the unwarranted advice.

You're welcome.
I'm more shaking my head at how many good movies you've passed up because the two sentence synopsis didn't grab your attention.
You would think after watching thousands of movies (

You would think after watching thousands of movies () that you would come to realize that you fall in love with a bunch of movies you'd think you'd never like.
I'm not sure why you are laughing at my having watched thousands of movies, are you doubting my sincerity?
Which pretty much is my point. There are plenty of movies I have yet to see that do look interesting to me so why should I spend my time going through movies that don't interest me in the hopes that I'll find a few surprise gems?

Yes.
I just find it hard to believe that someone with such TV and movie experience as yourself will avoid a show as critically acclaimed as Breaking Bad because you don't think you'll like it. That is what makes me doubt that you are this vault of movie/TV experience. I consider myself to have a fairly large collection (665 at the moment) and the notion that any movie can be judged by a two sentence synopsis was shattered years ago. If it's highly rated and/or critically acclaimed, I'll give it a shot. You'll never know what you might find. Sticking yourself in a rut because "I might not like it" seems ridiculous for someone interested in movies and TV.
My two cents.

Well then there is no point in me even reading the rest of what you've written if you're going to basically call me a liar.
You can piss off.
