I want to watch Zodiac
I wonder if the director’s cut is special

Zodiac is my favorite of his movies. I don't know why, but I bet I've watched it 40 or 50 times. Gyllenhaal's Robert Graysmith character's obsession with the nerdy aspects of the case draws me in every time. Robert Downy Jr. plays the Paul Avery character perfectly. The cops make it hard enough for Graysmith to get me frustrated, but his persistence & them being able to eventually see he might actually be figuring some things out, makes the drawn out process worth following.
I watched all of the Swedish versions of Stieg Larsson's "Lisbeth" movies before they made Finchers's English version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I was worried we'd get a watered down version of the movie, but Fincher did a great job with it. The actors were really good too. Stellan Skarsgård playing Martin Vanger was a brilliant casting decision.
If you haven't watched the Swedish movies, you should. That, or reading the books is the only way to really understand the Lisbeth character. The other movies really get into her past and reveal why shes' the way she is. After watching the 'The Girl Who Played with Fire' and 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest' on consecutive nights, I was compelled to rewatch the first one. Thinking about this makes me feel like I need to watch all three of the Swedish movies again. They are included with a Prime membership.

Best Id say Fight Club.
Most rewatchable, Se7en and Zodiac

Same, but fight club is a close second followed by zodiac
The game is awful

I stated earlier that Zodiac is an easy choice for me. I consider it a great film, with some really tense scenes. I loved the period it was set in and the actors were great.
Also, it doesn't hurt that I have always been fascinated by the Zodiac case.

Totally understand the best being Fight Club or Se7en or Zodiac
Just here to say The Game is a terrific movie, easily rewatchable, entertaining story, great photography. Just an all around soild movie.

Just watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night. Haven’t seen it since it came out. That movie is phenomenal. Seven is one of my favorite movies of all time, but Dragon Tattoo is really really good.

The Social Network is the answer although I may like Seven the best.

My non ranked Top 6.
The Game (1997)
Fight Club (1999)
Zodiac (2007)
The Social Network (2010)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
Gone Girl (2014)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo would be my pick for DF number 1;
Zodiac, The Game, and Fight Club all tie for number 2.
Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl did not work for me at all; I do think its her career defining role...I just did not like her as Amy. The only movie I have ever liked her in was Fracture.
However: The casting of Lisa Banes as mother Marybeth Elliott...holy crap...is the best cast role of the movie.

God I love me some Fight Club, Zodiac, GWTDT, The Social Network, and Benjamin Button but I have to go Seven. Very tough call though.
I love Fincher but I hated the Gone Girl book so much I never watched the movie.

I can watch Se7en and Zodiac anytime, so my favorite would be one of those two.

The Game
See this is one of my all time favorite movies and I love introducing someone to it who has never seen it. The only thing about it, once you know the twist, it really kills wanting to rewatch it. It's so well done I have probably seen it 5 times, that speaks volumes.
If you could say which movie if you could only watch once is the best, I think this is it hands down.
Otherwise it's between Fight Club and Seven, Seven I still am uncomfortable thinking about some of those scenes, I don't think I've seen it for at least 7-10 years at this point.

They're all fantastic, but gone girl just hit different for me. I can rewatch that shite over and over again

Social Network would be a different movie without Reznor/Ross Score
Great Opening Scene
