Your troll game is weak. Try again
After watching this I am changing my mind on some things. Ioane is a Guard, but if he is truly a HOF worthy selection then who gives a shite if you're at 8. I want the BEST PLAYER at 8, and I would much rather a HOF elite player at a less premium position than a good player with bust potential at it.

When they talk about how players are becoming positionless, they make a great point. I am sold.

I think I rate my current player hopefuls as such:

Love
Styles (Saftey to LB players who excel can be absolutely elite; see Urlacher)
Downs
Ioane (I'm still uncertain about this, but if he's as elite as McShay believes then man you got to grab him if one of the above 4 aren't there?)

Talks about the super high character of Sonny Styles and Jeremiyah Love.

We need more of these, especially with the likelihood of Demario leaving. I'd be happy with either one of these two guys on our team.
This would certainly take Love off the draft board. Etienne never seemed to dominate the position, but he’s been very productive. Do we want to pay a premium for a productive player, or draft a dominant one?

Personally I guess it all depends on what TE’s price tag is. If it’s reasonable and doable, then yeah sign him and take a defensive stud at 8

That’s Dr Jones to you lady!

No time for love Doctor jones
I mean, Hillary did get irate, raised her voice, got aggressive while losing her composure. What precisely is your point here?

Same, but fight club is a close second followed by zodiac

The game is awful

RB's sometimes don't translate well into the NFL. Would be tough loss if we spend a high pick on him and he fizzles out.

This usually happens due to poor vision and patience. Love has an incredibly high football IQ, so I don’t think he’s one to fail. Injuries will be the only thing that will make him a bust
quote:

everyone knows we are high on both considering they are 2 of the top prospects.

I think there’s some gamesmanship happening right now. Way too much smoke for it to be one of these two. I think they are trying to get someone to jump us for Love so one of the DEs falls to us. I find it difficult to believe they are playing with all their cards face up on the table

My buddy said this recently, and it had me thinking

That you even thought for more than a millisecond about this tells us all we need to know about you, and no it's not telling us anything positive
quote:

Thats what yall thought about Vacarro lol please no

 nobody was claiming Vacarro would be an elite generational talent in that draft. Don't confuse excitement for potential with the pick when it was made with believing the player was an All-World top 5 player in the draft during the pre draft process. Your revisionist history is strong though
quote:

hmm I wonder who you want?

lol fair, but I'm not one who pines for my college team players to go to my NFL team. As much as I would love to see Love in the BNG, I actually would prefer Downs or one of the DEs if they are there.

With that said, claiming we don't have a RB problem on this team is just trolling or idiocy.
Are you serious right now, or is this some sort of troll?
quote:

It's the same thing with Love as well. If they truly believe either is a generational talent, you can break "the rules" for them. But they can't just be really good players to justify it. That would be a failing (unless none of the other players are even close to as good when they pick).

I agree with all of this
There are rules….

… and they are meant to be broken now and again

quote:

Ughhh you don’t draft safeties in the top ten

You do when they are generational talents. Would you not take Troy Polamalu in the top 10? Ed Reed?

I don’t know if Downs is that level of talent, but if he is you don’t think twice about it

TigerintheSWAMP forgot to mention this in his title. Stupid fraudulent choad

I don't think anyone here would have a problem with that.

You new here? There are always some tards who will have an issue with whomever they choose.
quote:

Disagree with you there. This is a relatively bad RB draft.

I’m only going by stuff I’ve read or watched, so I don’t stand by my statement. If this is indeed a bad RB draft then grabbing Love is probably more important.

Personally I come into this as I do every other draft: I like whomever they pick, because I trust in their process, and I will wait and see if it pans out. They always know more about their team than any of us do

Unless they do something stupid with a clearly bad reach like the Raiders have a history of doing, I’m all good
