Nah. Not really. There might be some sad moments, but they are there to get crab and get home.

Not sure why the CM is going after Blue King. The demand is not as high for Blue as it is for Red. Maybe the new Skipper doesn't want to compete with the other guy...
Lame way to end the first episode. 2 hours and the Cornelia doesn't drop one pot, and they end on some dumbass cliffhanger.

just watched this ep and from the looks of it, they will get alot of water on the boats, they will catch crab, the captains will be assholes, and there will be frustration.

Looks like the new Captain got fired after two trips. Guess he rubbed Cornelia the wrong way too...
I also call bullshite on his comment about Phil asking him for 30,000 lbs of crab and him just giving it to him. WTF? If he's been retired for 5 years that would put this happening while the show was on the air or prior. If it's prior to the show airing, it was pre rationing when they still had the derby format. No way in hell anyone gives away crab during the derby days.

Last night they were doing terrible on the blue crab. They were getting a 2 average for most of the show. Right before it went off they got up to 19.
They said only 4 boats are fishing for Blue Crab. 1 is the CM the other is with that retard young captain on the RR. They were doing even worse then the CM.

I think they showed em for like...a split second. After that it was mainly CM&NW. The two young captains both make me mad.

Looks like the new Captain of the CM has his nuts on the block. We all know he gets fired at the end of the season. So when do the wheels come off?
