Well, if the diaspora wants the King in Exile back at least to oversee the construction of a functioning government. If that happens, things could go relatively smoothly. If not, who knows?

definitely not irrelevant that a rabbi came up with it, as it's essentially a 'not real jews' argument that works in their favor
Rabbis disagree all the time. The entire Talmud is just debates between rabbis.
An Egyptian rabbi said the Muslims weren't pagans that worshipped Baal. A Spanish Rabbi said Muslims literally worship an incarnation of Satan.

I'll assume all that is true/accurate. That's gonna be a Candace Owens/Nick Fuentes casualty. Idk why people get weird about Jews, but people started to get weirdly anti Jew during the Ukraine war funding and hamas war on Israel supporting Israel time period starting about 4 years ago. Plus the Islam/hamas hate for Jews we already had here in the states.
I guess "quit funding wars" can easily turn into "if you won't quit funding wars we'll stop support the people."
UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia provide 6.5 Billion per year to our University System -- and that's just directly. They've been doing it for at least a decade. So...you can infer what you will.

Fair enough. I assumed it was closer.

I love Jiro dreams of sushi.
I watched a documentary about couple months back about the Tonegawa Fish Market?? And Jiro had a cameo as just a guy buying sushi grade fish and I actually yelled at the TV, That's Jiro, and had to watch Dreams of Sushi again.
Can't remember the title but it's on Amazon.
ETA: it's Tsukiji Wonderland.

Details Revealed About MS Synagogue Arsonist

This guy is the most generic radicalized white kid if he was a villain in Law and Order people would call the writing lazy even for a police procedural.
19 years old
Plays baseball at the local CC.
Good upper middle class family
Raised in the church and openly professes his faith publicly
Reportedly normal up until last year
Then...
Became obsessed with working out, AI, online entrepreneurship, wealth acquisition, and "MAAXING".
OH, and he developed a hatred of Jews and considered the Temple Beth Israel a temple of Satan.
They grow up so fast...

However, as evidenced by his Instagram account, the suspect’s posts took a sharp turn in late 2025. On Oct. 9, Pittman posted a typical photo of himself playing baseball at Coahoma. His next post, which occurred on Dec. 13, shows Pittman engaging in a vulgar gesture with the caption, “Money is the root of all evil. Hate hates growth.”
From there, the posts grew darker. They included Pittman showcasing himself driving at speeds of up to 160 miles per hour, boasting about an apparent day trading operation, and signaling a far-right political lean, among other peculiar activities.
His most recent post likely led police to a motive in his alleged role in setting Beth Israel on fire. On the day of the fire, he posted a video depicting an antisemitic cartoon caricature of a Jewish figure wearing a Star of David necklace and holding bags of money, standing on another character’s property. The main character of the clip, a female, is seen expressing that her “Jewcrow” – a mock scarecrow holding a jar that reads “Tips Please” – didn’t work. The female character proceeded to knock the Jewish figure into a body of water, exclaiming, “You’re getting baptized right now.”

I mean, there's nothing inherently wrong with this. It's just stupid.

For example, the eyes of the new Barbie shift slightly to the side to represent how some people with autism sometimes avoid direct eye contact, he said. The doll also was given articulated elbows and wrists to acknowledge stimming, hand flapping and other gestures that some autistic people use to process sensory information or to express excitement, according to Mattel.

I just don't understand her character. One second she's hugging Tommy telling him to bring her the money, he goes against his better judgement and lets her dumbass plan go through to please her.
And then she fires him anyway ? Sheridan's writing sucks.
Writing women is easy. You just think of a man and then remove all logic and reason.

Quickly establishing your version of the narrative is now more important than the truth. Both sides employ this strategy out of necessity.

This is all so fricking stupid.
What metrics are we using to judge the best warrior? Are they all using the weapons of their time? Is it unarmed? Is it in a ring? Do the cavalry guys get to use horses?
Jon Jones versus any armed combatant just dies. He throws a kick and loses a foot against an armored knight.
Any ancient warrior loses to a barely trained grunt with a .45.
So, at this point, just say your favorite badass.
I could Theogenes of Thasos or Milo of Croton would frick Jones up, but why?
Just say your favorite badass and don't compare him to others.
They are all...pretty badass.

That part was not as tough for me as being forced to sympathize with Nazis. The Americans were such despicable people that you found yourself favoring the Nazis up until the end.
It was of course intentional, but it was still a mind frick.

These warriors weren’t amateurs.
I am in agreement. While modern fighters are perhaps physically superior and trained in methods beyond what these historical figures had access to, they didn't grow up with death as a constant companion. The men we are discussing joined as what we would consider children and stared men in the eyes as they plunged steel into their enemy's guts.
I read somewhere that most new soldiers in their first engagements miss high at a rate of 75-90%. They have a very natural and understandable aversion to killing someone.
Ancient warriors had to get close.
So, I don't think sport fighters should even be considered. I don't know if they could really get over the killing. But you wanna throw someone like Jocko in there, I can't really argue against it, but if you put anyone from the modern era against someone from an era where life was less sancrosanct, I'm taking the guy that grew up killing to live.

He still saw frontline action during the Gallic and Roman civil wars. The most famous of which occurred at the Battle of Munda in 45 BC where he rallied his wavering army by grabbing a shield, taking off his helmet, unsheathing his sword, and charging into the maelstrom.
Gaius grew up looking at the preserved faces of his ancestors kept in a special room. They literally removed the faces of his ancestors to remind their descendants of their duty. He participated countless campaigns. He was not always a general. He was not always an Emperor.
Be careful of old men in a young man's game.
