you wouldn't believe the hype in physical media libraries most people have.
blu rays and 4K discs have a much better picture than streaming. plus, you'll always have it compared to content changing from service to service due to licenses expiring.

People buy physical discs for a combination of two main reasons:
1. Their library is not controlled by the whims of streaming companies
2. (my primary reason) is quality. Even the best streaming services don't provide the picture or sound quality of a UHD Blu-ray disc. I have spent far too much money and sweat equity on my HT to accept sub-par performances of movies I actually care about. This isn't to say I don't stream a good deal of content in my HT but it is content I don't care as much about the quality. That being said there are a lot of people that can stream a movie on their phone and be perfectly happy, there is nothing wrong with that at all everyone has different priorities in life.

Or just download a remux.
It is nice having an actual physical copy of something though, so I get it.

I use to buy the DVDs for South Park and now it's the only way to watch the banned episodes. I've also noted some censorship with Futurama as well, thought nothing major.

I dint know why they need to be pre-ordered do they sell out?
I haven't had my bluray player even hooked up in over 10 years.

Damn. This movie is just damn fun. And cerebral with the literally nonstop Easter eggs, references and cameos. How could they even afford some of those? The shots at Hollywood and even Disney itself were awesome.
No need to nitpick a movie like this, it’s cool.

Yeah, if I still had one of those drives attached to my PC I might mention how to rip discs so they’re always available when I have power on my NAS, like that hasn’t come in handy. But I lost all that in the great boating accident a few years ago.
Especially when you look for multi packs, physical can be a great deal. I got Shaun of the dead, the pub at the end of the world and hot fuzz for $11 I think.
