You'll love the "enough with the multiverse shite" point of the movie. Where they acknowledge the mcu has been in a decline.

SATURDAY AM UPDATE: Refresh for more.. Disney is reporting a $96M first day/previews for Deadpool & Wolverine, the sixth highest opening ever that the U.S./Canada box office has ever seen. The revised 3-day estimate is $195M-$205M, easily the best openings ever for filmmaker Shawn Levy (besting Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian‘s $54M), and stars Ryan Reynolds (beating Deadpool‘s $132.4M) and Hugh Jackman (ahead of 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand‘s $102.7M).

At $195M-$205M, that will put D&W as either the eighth or ninth best opening at the domestic B.O. of all-time behind Avengers: Endgame ($357.1M), Spider-Man: No Way Home ($260.1M), Avengers: Infinity War ($257.6M), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($247.9M), Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($220M), Jurassic World ($208.8M), The Avengers ($207.4M), and Black Panther ($202M).

Just sat down to watch it.

Every theater in the San Antonio metro area was full this afternoon except for the front rows.

I have to laugh.

I'm at the barber today and I hear "are you into Marvel movies" across the barber shop. It's one barber asking someone that just sat down.

The response "I used to be but after End Game they really lost me. I tried to watch the Wanda show but it lost me. But they really lost me when they pushed things".

The barber tells him "I'm the same man but "Deadpool and Wolverine has given me hope".

It's really funny bc they both knew what they were talking about without talking about it. People are so fed up with the WOKE shite.

Do you think this person, who so values the phrase "lost me" that he shoves it into literslly ever sentence, was turned of by wokeness of Wanda or by the weirdness of Wanda? That show certainly has more of the latter in the first handful of episodes than the former.

This is a $2B film.

That is like130 million tickets at $15 each. That seems impossible with streaming and rating.
