It’s OK so far. Entertaining, but seems to be a rehash of the same story premise as the old episodes — Dexter kills someone and entire police trying to find who did it. Hopefully… we can someday get over this storyline and move on to when he is discovered.

How does this storyline finally end.

Last time he just disappeared and started a new life for himself in small town U.S.A.

I see 2 scenarios----and in both of them he winds up dead.

He's found out and dies by cop or Harrison kills him and he carries on with the "Dark Passenger", taking Dexter's place.

I am 3 episodes into it, so I haven't gotten to the ending. Dexter starts a new life in a small town in the snowy North. Nobody in the town knows about his past life, and he immersed himself into the town, and he is well-liked. I don't want to give a spoiler**, but the idea is that Dexter kills someone, and it becomes another 'cops are looking for a killer while Dexter tries to hide the evidence'. Very reminiscence of some of the earlier seasons.

What you described is exactly why I am watching this show lol.. this show needs a powerful conclusion. I feel that the show writers have been dangling a carrot in front of us for ages, but nothing ever comes out of it. Hopefully, this season has a decent ending.

Bump for last night's episode. I thought it was really good. Glad to see Harrison does have a little bit of a dark side.

Also the serial killer in this episode has to be Matt's Dad right? Those eyes behind the ski mask looked exactly like him.

Yeah. This season has been pretty weak overall.

The big evil oil company w.a.s.p. schtick is lame as hell.

This is how I think it's going to end. The scene with Harrison and the bullies in episode 3 tells me that he's definitely going to carry on Dexter's work once Dexter is gone.

And for those who hate Deb's character, didn't you think the woodchipper scene at the high school was even a little funny?

Its ok so far. Deb is annoying. 100% the killer is Matt's Dad/The Kurgen!

I half expected Dexter to stumble onto the old man’s body dump site in the abandoned mine.

I’ve actually enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

I had no interest in it when I first heard they were making it but it’s pleasantly surprising. I’m enjoying it more than the last few Dexter seasons after season 4.

Felt like the latest episode revealed too much, too soon. There are six episodes left and we already know who the masked killer is and that Harrison is a psycho.

Seems pretty likely the show is going to end with Harrison killing Dexter.

I thought Deb had another funny moment this week, similar to the woodchipper scene in episode 3

I just finished episode 4, and thought it was great. I understand what you’re saying about giving away too much, but the seasons almost halfway over. They have to establish the plot sooner or later.

I’ll be interested to see if Dexter confronts Harrison or just tries to keep an eye on him.

This show is not a whodunit mystery show. It's all about the chase. In season 4 (the best season), we knew who the Trinity Killer was all season.

Okay, and in Season 1, we didn't know who the Ice Truck Killer was until episode 8. So there have been seasons where the show is both a whodunit mystery and a show all about the chase. They're not mutually exclusive.

I guess we'll see. But if Dexter kills Harrison, it's just the same shite that has happened all along. Being close to Dexter gets you killed. By all indications, this is the last season of the series, so I think they'll end it a bit differently. I think ultimately, Dexter won't be able to kill Harrison.
