Add in to my list of trepidations about this project that to do 40K correctly will require a lot of money. This isn’t like Marvel, where you could conceivably (if you were budget conscious) put some dude in a pair of Daredevil pajamas and try to do the rest with camera tricks. The world of 40K is visually intense, and would look extremely silly if done in a half-arse manner.

The Eisenhorn anthology is the best entry door into the 40k universe and the vast number of storylines. You get hints of it all. Maybe if done like Dr. Who, where Eisenhorn as an Inquisitor goes from case to case and has different companions and adversaries throughout his descent into heresy. Keep the rest of the Universe only hinted at and slowly revealed. No visuals of the Emperor only glimpses and teases and keep the Astartes as Mythological heroes that appear only occasionally as a force of Utter destruction and death.
If done right could be amazing.
