I first watched this two years ago, and I got hooked. It's absolutely buck wild.

Semifinals are 2PM Cst Tuesday and Thursday and Finals on Saturday on Peacock.

Of course, they are already mad at the Israeli lady.

I own the coat of many colors Ferrel wore in that movie. Well not the actual coat but one just like it. It’s warm as frick. Wore it during the big snow this year.

Switzerland is hosting after Swiss vocalist Nemo won Eurovision 2024 in Malmo with the highly personal song “The Code,” about non-binary gender identity.

Nemo has joined calls for Israel to be thrown out of the show.

“I support the call for Israel’s exclusion from the Eurovision Song Contest,” the singer told the Huffington Post news website. “Israel’s actions are fundamentally at odds with the values that Eurovision claims to uphold — peace, unity, and respect for human rights.”

Of course.

You know that's true.

That crazy Irish witch's performance was impressive last year.

I mostly watch for the crazy stage performances. The production values are top notch... and the overall weirdness.

Some of it can be very entertaining and well-produced, though much of it tends to be danceable music as that seems to have had the greatest chance of winning over the years. Some of the major international singing contest franchises in other countries showcase great voices, very many performers singing in English in other countries - Global Idol, Got Talent, The Voice, X-Factor, etc.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I will watch it. I just hope there are enough good performances to make it worthwhile.

Ok, just finished part 1. On the upside the gay seems to have been toned down so far. On the downside the songs don't seem as good as last year.
