Look Shalla-bal is in like 5 panels of a different universe. There’s zero reason to have her in this movie outside of just injecting a female into it. Cmon man, be honest. And attacking actual fans for not liking it because “muh it’s no big deal” is not a valid point. If you don’t care then fine but he cares so attacking him is just saying that you’re superior to him. How does that put you in the right?

This is just the way things are and the way things have always been. There’s change, there’s fight against that change. Rinse repeat. In everyone’s mind, they fight for the right thing. It will never end. It’s been that way throughout every single tribe/country etc in history.
This is a war that they think they’re fighting behind their keyboard. It’s not enough to just not see something. Or state the reason why they don’t want to see it once. It has to be repeated daily. Every single page. To them, it’s spreading a message. And the fight back against it is exactly what they want. Your frustration is the fuel that keeps them going throughout their day. Just remember that.
This is a no way a statement saying that I don’t believe that there are truths on both sides. I do. But the constant political garbage every single day is so fricking annoying lol. I’m with you.

Then you should know that swapping characters can ruin storylines. Look at the MCU and what’s happened because of their fast tracking and skipping over decades to get to the most modern characters. They are having to reset the entire universe to correct it which is still no guarantee it’s going to work.

Look at the words you’re using. “War”, you guys are taking this way more seriously than you think we are. We’re just bummed that with all at these studious disposal we still get crap because of things that have nothing to do with these IPs.

So what happens to Norrin Radd since he’s been replaced? The actual Silver Surfer is a popular character. The issue is you can have them both so why risk ruining one or both of them just for political silliness?

As I understand it, this is taking place in an alternate timeline. I’d expect to see OG Radd in the main MCU timeline.

Ok but you can’t make as many movies as you can comics so passing it off as separate because it is in the comics doesn’t wash. It’s going to immediately connect to the main universe after this movie.

Look at what they did to Sam and he’s a well liked character who we know well but using him as Cap ruined Sam and Cap. The time frame for movies doesn’t allow for all these rapid switches of characters. It kills the impact.

That’s valid. We’ll see. It’s sort of an origin story, so I’m guessing, or maybe hoping they’re using Shalla-Bal in this one because it’s going to be destroyed, and then we ultimately get Radd in the main MCU timeline.
