No but it was funny.

Which is why he did it and proof it was not a sincere apology and an even bigger jackass move than telling the original jokes.

I think we can all agree that there is a double standard, that Letterman wold not have made these jokes about a Democrat, that he should get the same punishment as Imus, and that Bristol and Willow are really stupid names.

Which I'm ok with especially when the dad comes out and starts saying Dave was telling jokes about his daughter getting raped. Not true.
And now Palin is coming out saying you can't trust him around teenage girls implying he is a child molester.

The joke was about Bristol. Unless a joke about getting knocked up was magically attributed to any daughter other than the one famous for being knocked up.
Actually he could have been implying that the Palin family raises slutty daughters...considering he thinks Palin herself looks like a slut.
Tells the joke then gets the backlash and backtracks.
So shut up Afreax you stupid Honky

You're on the movie/tv board of message board called Tiger DROPPINGS, this isn't exactly the Lincoln/Douglas debates. Get over yourself

I guess some people can discuss things in a civil manner and others can't. It is you I am over. I can discuss matters, even heated matters, and not resort to name calling and insults. I guess many on here can't.

gotcha no one is allowed to make fun of any celebrity, or political person cause it wouldn't be civil. Thanks for the lesson Mrs. Manners

Hey fine. I have manners. Wow, the fact that you think that is an insult doesn't say much about you.
Posted on 6/14/09 at 9:19 pm to TigerMyth36
And the fact that even on an internet message board you have such a large stick up your arse says a lot about you
Posted on 6/14/09 at 9:21 pm to tigerguy121
Once again, you think being civil in the course of a discussion equates to having a stick up my arse. You must be such s pleasant person in real life that you think calling someone a count in the context of defending her child is reasonable.
I am sure your mother would be so proud that you defend someone calling Palin count and attack the person that doesn't believe that is necessary in the course of a debate.

Bringing up my mother doesn't sound civil. Getting a little personal there. Watch out you may offend my delicate nature.
Posted on 6/14/09 at 9:28 pm to tigerguy121
Answer the question. Do you think she would be proud you are attacking me for trying to keep things civil, while you defend someone calling Palin a count?
And it is quite civil. I didn't say a single derogatory thing about your mother. Just asked how you think she would feel about your conversation here.

If Obama's daughter was 18 and Letterman made that joke about her, he would have been fired on the spot. And you wouldn't be so blase about it. I'll say it again, Letterman is getting a pass because Palin is GOP.

Answer the question
Hi I am 121's mom, I don't care what people say on internet message boards. It's the internet, only people that take things to seriously get upset over stuff like that on message boards.
Thanks mom!. She is always having to fight my battles for me.
Question...have you ever gotten personal on this message board and called someone names?
Posted on 6/14/09 at 9:48 pm to tigerguy121
I respond when provoked. Do I initiate some school yard name calling? No.
No matter how you slice it, you are defending some guy that called Palin a count in the context of her being upset about remarks about her daughter and attacking me for making a smartass comment about his language.
If you can't see something wrong with that then there is nothing more I can say about it.

Is this something that you can prove, or is that a guess on you part?
Seems fairly obvious that it's the latter.

Reading your posts for the last year or so. I'd like to see how you wrote that with a straight face.
