The casting was awful and the storylines got stale quick
I’m still surprised they canned party down south that quick. I thought it was good enough to garner 6-7 seasons like Jersey Shore did
I think MTV needs to cut ties with this and invest more in Are You The One? And Challenge

Just caught up on the show, and I concur, Jeremiah is a massive Dbag, poor Kirk just wants ole baw to just shut up and show off his muscles @ the beach, and he can pick from the leftover herd, but Jeremiah has the game of a special needs kid.
The whole forced 'Wah, Aimee's feelings are hurt, she needs a 'special' day' was just awful. Typical chick forgetting she was the one running her mouth off first yet ends up crying when the guy's say something 1/3 as 'mean'
Shocker of the episode: South Carolina guy isn't a fairy? Wants to smash Aimee?
The black girl and Kirk need more screentime, they're the 'coolest' of the bunch.

Wow... Thread has been dead since before the new year.... I actually just remembered the show was still on so I went to the guide and it was gone. I guess they pulled the plug on it or it was only like a 6 week show.
Whatever the reasoning, I don't think we'll see a comeback, at least not with this cast intact. It had hope, but really died quickly with perhaps the most unlikeable reality show cast in recent memory.
Even the nut jobs on Party Down South 2 were better than this crop.

It might have been the worst reality show in history. Location sucked, cast sucked, their "job" sucked, the fake fights sucked. No way it comes back in the current form.

Damn... And I thought this show an thread were about as dead as Siesta Key... I couldn't even finish the first season of Floribama shore, but I'm giving it one more chance... But I don't know why... Really

I really thought they would mixup the cast but looks like everything is the same. I wonder if the male model finally got wifed up?

They really fricked up with the casting IMO. You would think that MTV/Viacom has reality show casting down to a science now with the years of Real World. This cast could legit be in line to be the worst group of them all, even the Real World matchups, ever.
Maybe it's just their age and whatnot, though. If any of you can think back to any of the Real World seasons, most of the casts for each one would have been roughly the same age group as these kids in FBS, yet I can't think of any of the real world seasons where the cast were so one-dimensional. A lot of times even on RW, the cast had their ups and downs and beefs with certain other casts but they still made it work and generally had a good time. This group is so self-centered and out of touch with their surroundings it's like they dont even care how they come off to the rest of the cast.(Exception being the fine black chick who might be the most stable and real person on the show)
Which brings me to this: They need to get rid of all of the fakeness this show has been about, and do a real Floribama set up, that is actually in Perdido/Orange Beach, specifically has Daddy casts, and the rest of the cast are local enough and have at least one or two positive traits/shared interests. Party Down nailed the casting and was about as close to a 2010-Jersey Shore as you could get. Met Daddy in Floribama one random summer saturday night and he's legit cool/funny guy. He was so fricked up on bushwackers they actually ended up having to walk him out of the bar. Have also ran into Mattie in Nola two or three times back during their PD days just going out on random nights and she seems cool as hell too. What I got from those two is that what we got on camera is probably the real deal, and not staged, for the most part.

Floribama Shore is miles better than the show about the snowboarders. I hated each and every one of the characters, none of them had any redeeming value.
