Just a quick hello and he signed one of the pre-selected pictures they have to choose from. I didn't get a picture with him because, like you said, that shite isn't cheap.

He's very alert for a 90 something year old. I saw other people's pictures with him and they had him sitting in a lounge chair while the fans stood around him.
As a side note, I had a friend who was a huge nerd. Dude had tons of money because he was an engineer, was single, and still lived at home with his mom. He'd spend thousands of dollars to go to these conventions and take pictures with celebrities.
You'd go into his room, and the wall was filled with pictures of him with Patrick Steward, Bruce Campbell, Karl Urban, etc.
Well he eventually gets a girlfriend, and she put an end to that shite real quick. I'd as him "Hey man, been to any cons lately?"
He'd sheepishly answer "Nah, I couldn't make it. Too busy, you know?" and quickly change the subject.

Did a quick review of the guest list & prices for GalaxyCon and compared it to DragonCon. 3 days vs 5 days, and the pricing seems to be about on par. But for any super nerds out there, DC has a Eternals level admin price for a mere $4.5k 
Basically it's good for as long as you are or until they stop doing DragonCon.
