she made the show last night. i love how she salted the backyard of the house she sold because the purchasers asked her to pay the closing costs.

Is it just me or does everyone else think Quinn is fire?

I thought it was touching how she cared for the plight of the poor dutch girl
I'm a little concerned how the show will change now. Will it no longer be Cheerios vs. Glee Club? They seem to have buried the hatchet a bit last night.

i have been thinking the same thing. i feel they should have explored the mean girl (cheerio) vs nice girl (glee) thing for at least a season. instead, they get Quinn pregnant right at the beginning and you know eventually she will become an outsider like the other glee kids. Judging by the scenes for next week's episode, it's already beginning to happen.
i don't know how the show will do if there is no villian. I know there is Sue but will there be any cheerios?
also, when are they going to bring up the issue of the baby not being Fin's. does the mohawk dude just not care that the girl is pregnant with his kid? It is also real nice of Quinn trying to ruin Fin's life by tricking him into thinking that the baby is his.

Agreed. I actually think she can be a little too much sometimes, but last night was just perfect.

I think they just wanted to accelerate the fall from grace/rise to prominence so they could set up more individual storylines. There is only so much you can do with such a broad story line as popular vs nerd, because every personal/individual story line ultimately boils down to that, until that is taken out, which they seem to be doing now.
I think we will see more character development from the supporting cast. I know there will be an episode centered around Puck, his affection for Quinn, and the role he wants to take with the baby.

I'm starting to get annoyed with this fake pregnancy. In the few months she's supposed to be faking it, how has Schuester not tried to touch her belly or see her nekkid? Hell, even if he touched her lower back he'd feel the strap.

+1. I am interested to see how it all plays out; Mrs Shue has got to go.

that is true. it is very silly. also, i am sure the doctor would bow down to her and her sister like that.

I think about this every week. At some point, it needs to be exposed. I can't believe the mohawk dude is just letting it happen.
Also, I'm kinda wanting the blonde "dutch" girl to get a solo.

Anyone know where I can find the pilot episode? I have seen all the other ones recently thanks to Fox.com and am finally caught up. I have searched Hulu, youtube, ninja video, fox.com.
Any suggestions? Help appreciated.

I think the best set up would be that the secret about quinn doesn't get out to the rest of the school, but instead she continues carrying the child in secret and forms a bond with everyone in the club (because they are good people and won't quit being her friend even if the school does find out). THEN when she has the baby, (which she won't gain that much weight because she's a cheerleader and I'm sure winter is coming up soon so she can hide it) she secretly passes the kid off to the wifey and realizes she made it through that safely without everyone finding out.
Then, she will drop the glee club like a hot potato and go back to cheating on Fin with mohawk boy. So then she will have conflict with everyone in glee who will feel like she only hung out with them because she thought she would be dropped from the popular crowd once everyone found out about her prego. But being the "good" guys they are, the glee club members will just keep hiding her secret and being mad at her for dropping them.

Joss Whedon is gonna direct an episode of Glee!!

Stop it, Fox. Stop making us so damn happy!
Not only is Glee quickly becoming our favorite series on television this season—there, we said it!—but Fox just confirmed to us that the addictive new show has just tapped Joss Whedon to direct an upcoming episode.
Yes, that Joss Whedon. You know, the guy who created Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible and now Dollhouse (which returns Friday).
He also has directed The Office twice, so it seems his taste in television does not suck.
So how did these two great flavors come together?
It seems Glee creator Ryan Murphy is a big fan of Joss, too.
"Joss directed one of the great musical episodes in the history of television on Buffy," he told my frenemy, who first broke the news. "So this is a great, if unexpected, fit. I'm thrilled he'll be loaning us his fantastic, groundbreaking talent."
We're still waiting for word from Fox on how Joss will fit in Glee while still helming Dollhouse, which has a 13-episode order so far for the second season.
Given how loyal Joss stays to his Whedonverse posse, we can only hope one of his peeps might appear on Glee. Are you rooting for SMG? Alyson Hannigan? David B.? Nathan Fillion? Or, oh snap, here's an idea: How about Neil Patrick Harris? Comment below, and let us know if you agree that Glee is un-freaking-believable so far this season...
