I'm sure old balls and Mormont will say he can't be trusted.

Fabio's presence is exactly what Jorah needs for him to step his game up - old man needed a kick in the arse.

Has the show given us any clues as to why White Walkers like male babies? Bizarre. The show hasn't really told us anything about them, even 28 episodes in.

What do we know about them other than they don't like fire or dragonglass?

Love it when Gilly(?) suggests "Craston" as a name for her son.

Not that I can think of. May be misremembering, but I get the impression they're one of those magical things from the past that people don't like to think about.

Craster's been feeding them baby boys for a while. Presumably, they need them to make more WW's.

That they move south along with the ice cap when winter sets in... and the upcoming winter is supposed to be bad.

That they create zombie like creatures out of regular humans.

ETA:

We're thinking alike, Power Tool.
Perhaps they take the babies to grow them into full-fledged walkers somehow?

In 28 episodes they have been in about 4-5. And none of those sightings have lasted long or been witnessed by multiple people. I'm pretty sure we know nothing about them.

And was the one that Sam killed the same one that saw him at the end of season 2?

I think all the "full" walkers may look kinda alike like that.

that was the exact thing I noticed as well

isnt that the same Whitey Blue Eyes we saw riding Seabiscuit who just looked Fatty in the eye and kept on going? Think he regrets that shite now?

I cant decide if the chorus of blackbirds was there to warn Fatty or were they chasing him there at the end. Regardless, fricking stupid of him to leave that dagger thing behind and run off without it.

About the birds, they were there to warn Sam but he wasn't getting it? does anybody remember if there were other dragonglass pieces in Sam's bag?

I think he "got it" eventually because he told the girl to go back inside even before they went silent.

Unless he divided it with the other two that were there when it was discovered - Yes. There was a whole bunch of it underneath a shield buried in the ice north of the wall.

I suppose The Nights Watch/Mance Rayder's Wildling Army/White Walker Army will all intersect at some point very soon, just not sure what the WWs motivation is other than being creepy and taking babies.

Other questions about this episode:

I thought the plan was to sacrifice Gendry? He seemed alive and well, just a bit holier.

Didn't Jofftard threaten to break into the bedroom and try to poke Sansa? Was he just full
of shite?

Did Jorah find out who the powerful friends of Yuntai were?

you sure?

I kinda thought they were announcing - "Hey, Whitey, that fat frick is over HERE"

and it looked like there were chasing him, not "protecting" him as they were sprinting through the snow right before the credits rolled

I assumed it was the band of 2000 that Dany now essentially controls.

I think their motivations are more base and animalistic. They just kill everything that isn't them in their "territory"... which is inching south by the day.

Don't know if that's out of the question or not. Veros(?) just wanted Stannis to get proof that killing/sacrificing him was going to be worth it and wanted proof... So they got "a little" blood and literally cooked up a hit list.

Just being cruel as usual. Thing I got from that encounter was that he STILL would prefer to torture Sansa than spend time with Margery.

Yeah... It was the guys that Dany met with that Daario was part of (at least I got from it). Yuntai was paying them to serve them... Dany wanted to give them a chance to change their allegiance before the fighting began.
