Then Stannis tossed the leachs in the flame and said something and named Robb, Joffrey, and Iron Isles person. Wonder what will happen from that.
Iron Islands dude is Balon Greyjoy, Theon's dad. I assume they will be targeted and killed. I'm not really attached to Robb or Balon, but I love Joffrey being a little sadistic a-hole, so I hope he doesn't get killed soon.
I really liked the Davos/Stannis scene. it showed us that Stannis isn't just an idiot, and that he even said how could he not take RedChick seriously when he saw proof that her god was legit (when he looked into the fire). That scene gave us some good character development on Stannis, who has been sort of a stick figure lately.

Tyrion telling Joffrey he would cut his penis off was funny as hell.
That was a good scene. Tyrion was pissed and trying to show Joff what's up, and I think Tywin saw that as well. So then they both played it off like Tyrion was just drunk and mouthing off. I feel like Joffrey was bullshitting Sansa about the rape to frick with her. I know he didn't end up doing it that night like he said, but he could just be planting the seed in her head for the future. But I still see Joffrey as fairly asexual, so I can't imagine he'd be down for actually raping some chick himself, even if it's out of spite cuz that would mean his dick would have to get wet.

as viewers, this speech was pretty big for the overarching story of the red god, imho
i always thought the "fire" in a song of ice and fire was referencing dragons, but it may be referencing the red god
when the red god starts bringing people back to life, and it's NOT due to M's control (b/c she may just be some witch or something), we have to start believing the red god exists (like stannis). it's a big force in the show
this season has kind of dragged on in terms of most characters' stories, but it has created some major conflicts for the rest of the story. this season pretty much developed some super powerful forces
dany with her dragons + army
the lannister-tyrell solidification (which hasn't happened fully yet, as both weddings/marriages need to occur)
stannis with the backing of a god
the white walkers

The Gus bus dropping the dragon glass dagger bothered me. I'm pretty sure it was his only piece.
White Walker grabbing the sword and freezing it was bad arse.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we see a White/Wright somewhere in Winterfell in season one? Where are all those fricks at since they can apparently survive where winter hasn't gotten yet.
Dany and Mel nekkid in the same episode. SCORE.
Don't trust Fabio. I hope he dies before he bangs Dany, actually think he might be gay.
I think the birds were there to warn fat boy.

First off
Secondly. Did Carson ever post those page numbers? I don't see it in this thread and I can't search his post history for fear of book spoilers.
Hook me up Carson.

Was Littlefinger on that ship a few episodes back. We know that sneaky little bastard always backs whatever side he thinks has the upper hand in the big game. Anybody think he's heading to Easteros to try and hook up with Dany?

Agreed. I think we talked a week or two ago in the episode thread about how far-reaching the Lord of Light religion seemed to be. Multiple groups worship that god and we see his powers in different ways.
Good call on the "fire and ice" thing, and I agree with that.

I thought Arya saw one in season one. Maybe not. Where did the one Jon killed at castle black come from?
Posted on 5/20/13 at 8:27 am to SlowFlowPro
Not a full walker but just the blue eyed zombie humans.

My 3yr old has been watching Cinderella everyday for about 5 months so the second I saw that it made sense.

GusGus is the fat, worthless mouse from Cinderella. I think iluv called him that a few weeks ago and it kinda stuck. Not to mention they do kinda look alike..

I know a Wright or what not. Has it ever showed how they get turned. I feel like we know nothing about this part of the show.

One of the Night's Watch who went missing with Jon's Uncle.

Yea, I think he was kind of a boss man, not sure. I can't remember how he turned though. Does a walker have to turn you or if you just die where winter is at do you turn?
