Not a ton of time has passed since season 1.

Martin says his biggest regret is making the kids so young. they bump up the ages a tad i believe. but Robb isnt suppose to be very old either.

You would think since Rickon is worthless that later on he may not be. IMO they have him there for a reason.

If that's true, I wonder which god "ice" references?

Well the White Walkers appear to be other worldly so I'm gonna go with that. Plus Stannis said he saw a great battle in the snow so I'm thinking the WW vs. Stannis (red god) in the near future.

True, but I think its a dual reference just like "fire." Fire represents both dragons and the red god. Ice represents the white walkers plus ???

I'm thinking of the scene between Aria and the Brotherhood without Banners guy, where he says the Red God is the one true god, and Aria says that hers is "death."

There are other scenes to note - for instance the scenes with Arias "dancing teacher" who always asks "What do we say to death?" (Answer: "Not today.").

I think the assassin guy Jaquen is part of this death cult, even though he references the red god several times. I am also becoming convinced that Varys is too. When Ned Stark asked him to slit his throat in the dungeon, Varys replied "Not today, my lord." Plus, there was that scene where Varys explained to Tyrion why he didn't want Stannis to take over ("dark" magic).

Just a hunch. I think this will be a showdown between dragons and WWs and also the followers of two gods.

I'm thinking it has to be at least 2 years.

Just based on Dany's alone.

Married, travel across the continent, gets pregnant, has a lizard baby, travels through red waste, sacks Qarth, sacks Astapor and now at Yunkai.

right so its been less than a year since Ned got the ax and all that stuff.

It might be she said 14 but i thought she said she was 13 when King Robert went to visit neds crew. He asked how old she was.

I guess Dany kinda lucked out with the Second Sons...

What if Daario (sp?) was a completely disgusting looking guy? Would Dany just "go along" with this dude, gain control of the Second Sons, and then just slit his throat in the night or something?

I guess it's a good thing he looks like Fabio - for her sake.

So 2 years fits.
Before that she traveled from Pentos with the Khalasar, got pregnant, carried for 9 mths, burned Drogo and hatched her dragons.

Well since Bran can't stand that may not be to far from happening.

Exactly, arya is (captured) on the run, sansa is at Kings landing (which is a dangerous place to be obviously), bran is crippled, and rob is on his way to see the guy he betrayed. Not to mention Jon Snow's predicament. Yea Rickon must be there for a reason one way or the other. Can't wait to see the look on the Lannister's faces when they realize sansa isn't the key to the north like they think.

There seems to be double meanings often used, like "the climb" had to do with jon snow and those guys climbing the wall but also the exchange between varys and little finger and the climb up the ladder of power and influence. There are others but that is the first one that came to mind.

As speculated earlier in this thread, I think it's either Robb or Joffrey who is about to get whacked.

If it is Joffrey, who would succeed him on the throne? Would it be Tommen? I would assume Tywin or Cersei would be the King "Regent" until Tommen was old enough..

Robb - I think his love for his new bride is leaving him somewhat vulnerable in the war. What if the Freys are still pissed and pull some sneaky shite on him? Or it's possible he's underestimating the defences of Casterly Rock.

Either way, my bet is one of them (maybe both) are about to pay the iron price.

Fabio is a loose cannon (he does what he wants) - not sure how all that is going to play out, but he, Jorah, and Dany will not be living happily ever after together IMO.

The writers have been giving us a few subtle clues as to why we should not trust Robb's new wifey. I'm all in on the Tywin Lannister spy theory.

I hope the Lord of Light whacks everyone on the fire pit hit list... Robb deserves the Iron Price the least, but Starks seem to suffer quite a bit on this show

Every time they show Robb he is looking at maps and strategizing so it's not like he is losing sight of the main objective. He just wants to mix in some poon every once in a while.

So are you thinking that when Robb marches on Casterly Rock the Lannisters will have the drop on them and be ready? I would have to imagine that Robb has spy's working for him as well and he is getting some scoop .

I like where your head's at.

Robb's new wife writing mysterious letters, Catelyn giving the weird look to them 2 eps ago, Lord Karstark (deceased now) telling Robb he lost the war once he got married, Tywin and his advisers were shown being stumped in season 2 figuring out how to stop Robb - the hints are there.

I think initially Tywin brought her on board to piss off Lord Frey - now that Robb's uncle is taking the plunge for him, wifey's new job is sit around naked and keep Robb's eyes of the prize... all the while reporting Stark deeds to Lord Tywin via strange letters.

On a bit of a different topic, anyone think the wedding between LLoris and Cersei won't happen? I mean the sansa/tyrion marriage was not liked by either party but Lloris has no interest in women and Cersei has been down this road already. Idk just wonder if something will happen there

Cersei may drink poison before she lets herself be betrothed to another person she hates. If Joffrey and Margery get married before the slug curse happens, would that make Margery HBIC? And if the slug curse happens before they get married, would that make Tommen king?

I'm willing to overlook this one. I don't think Rob's mom knows anything. She was just shaking her damn head at what an idiot he is for not sticking to his word.

I'm dismissing this one because I think he doesn't know anything either, other than Rob broke his word to marry the Frey girl.

This is the big one. I do not believe for one minute she is writing letters to her mom. I think maybe she sends them to her mom, who turns around and sends them to Tywin.

I'm going with this. Tommen seems alright too. Definite improvement over Joffrey.

put me on the side of the crows were warning gus gus. and it's nothing more than that. them flying out at the end was just a cool looking ending, not them chasing the 3. also if the walkers are there to kill everything he would've killed gus gus. so i think he was there for the baby.

So can Walkers just smell babies in the woods or something?

Like I said earlier, if they were there to help Sam, they did a terrible job. They led the Walker right to the party and then chased them away.
