Jorah Mormont was a spy for Varys in season one. I had forgotten about that but was reading episode synopses earlier today. He was feeding them info early on and decided to basically go against it when the order came to assassinate Dany (don't remember where that was but it was when someone tried to poison her I believe). And I think he's been relatively loyal since then. But I assume that's what Ser Barristan is hinting at a few episodes ago with Jorah and how he has some secrets.
Yes, in the first season Varys brought news to the Small Council that Jorah was spying on Dany. Ned said he refused to act on the whispers of a traitor (Jorah), but Robert gave the order to have her assassinated.
So, basically, Jorah set her up to be assassinated in order to get his pardon, and then saved her from it. Kind of a replay of that dynamic last night.

Dan, they can use makeup or special effects to cover up yhe tattoos.
I understand that but they also keep her more covered thn any other character on the show for a reason.

You think they are worried about money?
And maybe you forget but the first episode shows her brother railing her from behind. You could see who whole back and some arse
It's just not a good fit for her character at least at the moment

I imagine they can but it also appears to be a place they don't want to spend money as Cersei always wears arm length dresses that go up to her neck and down to her ankles for a reason. Have you noticed she is the only character on the show that never reveals an ounce of skin? Even Margearys old arse grandmother wears less revealing dresses. I think they keep her covered because they don't want to spend cg money on hiding tats.
whoa whoa george lucas, you can use make up to cover tats instead of CGI.
Highgarden is in the south and it seems their people dress a little bit more for warmer weather. that's how i took it. oh and also margery def knows her way around a dick.

Why do people keep saying this? I thought the dagger shattered along with the WW. It looked like shards on the ground to me.

no it was still full and unbroken on the ground. It was kinda a subtle point like hey he left it

i dunno. it just looked like it dropped to me. i would have to go back and watch.

Ok I was watching it on hbogo, so not really HD. That was my assumption.

yeah it was still good. That dagger obviously has some special about it because if you remember Jon snow couldnt do anything to the one he fought. He had to burn it. That dagger was just ravaged that dude

Very much so. It was a big sticking point before filming started.

Only saw her face from the front and her hair was covering her shoulders and anything else. I imagine the back shot was a double although I don't remember it precisely as it was some time ago that I watched it.

I could very well be wrong but I believe she is kept covered because of the tats. Perhaps a book reader can enlighten us on this one issue without revealing anything more. Does she dress this way in the books?

you are wrong.
Its more likely that she doesnt want to get naked than that.
And I meant that the money to put makeup on a tattoo is not what they are worried about

Yes. The words on the page illustrates that in many colors and shadows.

You could be right but I still believe what I wrote to be true. I typed Cersei Lannister painting into Google and this is the first one that popped up. This leads me to believe that she is covered in the show for tat reasons as she apparently dressed nothing like that in the book.

Won't ever happen because the actress that plays her is covered in tatoos. What a dumb arse to ruin herself liek that.
She is hot as hell as a brunette and those can be covered up easily.

oh btw, i like how tyrion mentions "and now my watch begins" on his wedding night. knowing that in his mind the marriage to sansa will not involve sex so he'll be celibate like a crow. at least with her.
quote:
and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children...

Holy frick, you cannot be serious. No man, we are not welcome here. Not even to tell you that Cersei's lack of skin showing has nothing to do with her tatoos.

Cersei dresses the way highborn women in kings landing dress. Once sansa moved there, she also began dressing that way. Margary and her granny dress the way highgarden royalty dress and it is a more tropical climate there i assume bc it's further south.
Dany has been in the hottest climate of all, so she shows more shoulder and arms than anybody.

those are just painting somebody did. what does that have to do with anything. I have pics I drew of her naked... does that mean that she didnt get naked because of tats. the pictures say she got naked....
she may be covered up normally just so they dont have to deal with it but its not the reason she doesnt get naked. When will/should she have gotten naked?? Not a great spot for her to naked with a dead husband and no one laying pipe. Dont think HBO is jumping to show her banging her nephew or whatever it was
