It's not rated R, everybody will hate it.

I'm as big of a fan of film as most anybody around here but there has never been a movie that has made me do this and there never will.

It begs to be seen on the big screen. I saw it in non-IMAX 3D but I don't think it is essential. Personally, I think 3D is more of a distraction than anything. Though, it might be better to see it in IMAX.

This is the issue for me. I generally don't like 3D. I find it takes away from the movie and sometimes is disorienting for me.

I have heard you "have" to see this movie in 3D. For the people who have seen it, any comments. I really think I may skip the 3D. Thanks.

Literally throughout the whole movie I was asking that. You're watching it asking "Ok, seriously, how did they do that?".

Please read my post above. Did you see it in 3D? Comments either way? Thanks.

I saw it in 3D. Visually spectacular. My eyes don't like the panning of the camera (especially when the characters are inverted) so I had to remove the glasses about 4 times for about 1 minute each time.

I'd you DON'T have to see it in 3D but man it was cool.

Tell you what was more impressive in 3D was the Thor preview.

"Shrapnel moving faster than a speeding bullet!"

"Clear skies with a chance of satellite debris."

The dialogue was bad. No way around it.

I'm going to see it @ 8:40 in 3D.. This will be my first 3D experience, and it will probably be as gay as the glasses.. Movie looks like it's going to be an original though.

yes

I'm talking ONLY about the dialogue, NOT the action sequences or the overall direction

There were several lines that made me roll my eyes

I just threw up in my mouth a little. When you were typing this up, did you have a scarf on while smoking a pipe?
