Oh shite, I'm flashing back to my days of growing up in Da Berry in the 80's and early 90's....

ETA: Does it happen to say "Sweet N' Low" on the back of your SUV....
quote:

An educator intentionally engages in the touching of the anus or genitals of a student seventeen years of age or older, but less than twenty-one years of age

Ha! It's interesting to me how specific they are with these laws sometimes. No anus touching allowed!

Been doing a lot of research and it seems like with any German car, you're going to be shelling out 3-5K/year minimum on maintenance and repairs.

This is not even remotely true. Especially if it's a newer car. Just don't take it to the dealership for regular maintenance.....They rip you off. I have a Mercedes that just hit 100k miles and I literally have only changed the oil, etc. No problems at all...

You can always have bad luck, but I find that people drastically overstate the "German cars have high maintenance costs" BS

I've found that if your significant other isn't on the same page as far as religion goes it's best to just cut it off unless you're going to convert.

My wife is a Buddhist and I'm an atheist and we don't have any issues when it comes to religion. She does her thing (goes to temples) when she wants to and respects that I have no religion. Maybe it would be tougher if she was a Christian...
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Blondie or RareBreed. Also, I think Piccolo has also disappeared....Some of the original LLOTOT
quote:

He looks exactly like the kind of guy I would expect to get busted for soliciting prostitutes in the year 2026

I guess, but in all seriousness, in the year 2026 should what he did be illegal? Two consenting adults having sex while one benefits financially has been going on since the beginning of civilization.

In my mind it is no different than a guy spending $400 on a nice dinner for a chick and then she takes him back to her place and blows him, etc....

Time to move on from these very outdated laws...
quote:

So what keeps some degenerate from strolling in to one of the places at lunch when it's busy and grabbing a free meal?

My guess is this must happen a good bit, especially in big cities. Although they are probably more likely to ask for a name or verification in higher risk places.....You must live in a nice area.
What an idiotic take. They are luxury items, and more specifically, jewelry. It's no different than spending $10,000 on a Cartier bracelet. For me the difference is, the watch at least has some function, unlike to bracelet that is just for looks.

Also, they should only be purchased as a luxury for people who have the disposable income. The good thing about some of these watches is they can actually appreciate in value, unlike most luxury cars for example....

Employing people is somewhat a giant baby sitting service. Personalities, conflicts and trying to create a good company culture is challenging….
If you’re going to employ people, go in eyes wide open…..

This is the best advice so far. If it wasn't for people, it wouldn't be nearly as difficult. Think about how you now get upset when you are "micro-managed". Now, be prepared to have your employees feel the same way, even if you don't think it's the case.

The hardest part about owning a business is getting the people who work for you to do what you want them to do. I can't overstate this enough.

The new Jesus:

Jaakko Ohtonen is a Finnish actor and voiceover artist. He has been cast in the role of Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One and Part Two.

I got to see them and they put on a great show.

I saw them at the Superdome in 1994. I was a freshman at LSU and I remember thinking they were old then....little did I know that 31 years later they would still be kicking.

but I really don't want to be anywhere evil spirits are actively communicating with people around me.

Is this a serious thread and question?? I'm assuming this is a joke and nobody is really this stupid...

quote:

I love the song; it's my favorite Beatles song. (In My Life)

Yep, it's may favorite Beatles song too. It's what catches my attention and makes it such a great commercial.
Wow, that's about 5 minutes or so from my house....

Can't say I've ever been as I quit drinking 10 years ago. We just moved to Idaho about 9 months ago and I am still a little surprised at how red this state is....
quote:

The biggest joke is the “think of the kids” guys on social media. Kiffin was the portal king and that Ole Miss squad is all mercenaries. He’ll, half of them are probably coming here.

This is correct and also these aren't the "kids" like they used to be. The good ones are now being paid like professional athletes and with the portal it jus isn't the same as in the days when the "kids" committed to a program and a coach and played for the love of the game. For better or worse, it's becoming more about money now....
quote:

I feel disgusting.

As you should. No reason to order the Caniac...

I actually ate a box combo for the first time in awhile last weekend and felt incredibly full and even a little queasy after ingesting that many calories...
quote:

There’s actually a decent amount of African people in Boise. DACA was huge in Idaho and a lot of those kids now have kids.

Still a minority, but that pop is growing.

I have to pretty much disagree with this. I live here and the truth is whenever I see a black person it catches my eye. I think, "Oh look, a black person". It's just not that common of a sight.

I just looked it up:

quote:

Here is a more detailed breakdown of Boise's racial and ethnic demographics:

White (Non-Hispanic): This is the largest group, making up around 80.4% of the city's population.

White (Hispanic): This group accounts for approximately 3.21% of the population.

Asian (Non-Hispanic): This group makes up about 3.34% of the population.

Two or More Races (Non-Hispanic): This category is the next largest, at around 3.19%.

Other (Hispanic): This group represents about 2.56% of the population.

Other racial and ethnic groups: Other groups present in the city include those who identify as Black or African American, Native American, and Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, though these are smaller percentages of the overall population.

So black people make up less than 2.56% of the population.....
