But it said "This Is The End" not "The Truth Is Out There".
I think, if anything, agents Miller and Einstein pick up the tourch from here.

ALIENS!!! Beamed them up?

I just started watching the first episode, haven't finished it yet, but it's really not working for me. Everything seems off and kind of cheap, but that's me. Does it get better?

I think the first one is slow or setup, my favorites are the last three.

I think it's the difference between the way it was originally shot and now that it's done in digital for HD.

Yeah... and there's no way in hell they just leave it like that. There's going to be more. Has to be.

Agent Reyes making a cameo? We needed Doggett, Krycek and the Bounty Hunter and call it a series.

Disagree. It started out well, but it was a mess. Kind of feEl like I wasted 6 hours watching it.

Leaving us with an unsatisfying cliffhanger was the most X-Files thing about this season.

I loved the middle four episodes though.

So, yeah, a typical X-Files season.

Boy, this really hammered home how Chris Carter just made up stuff as he went along. After a certain point with the show, the mythology episodes became the most unsatisfying ones (the black oil! the bees! the Navajo codetalkers!)
If it comes back, I'll watch it I suppose. But that last terrible episode and the massive cliffhanger it ended on sure were a giant insult to the audience. Even worse than the final season without Mulder and Scully.

I was really disappointed in the "science" they used in this episode. It was apparent that they did not have an adviser and were just throwing out words and phrases they heard on CSI. It really sounded made up and thrown together.

Yeah, I have a real problem with the anti-vaxxers and the chemtrails crowd. And the fact that they used an Alex Jones-type to push this stuff to the audience...it really tested my patience. If it had been anything other than the X-Files, I would have shut off the TV and muttered something about "stupid f-ing conspiracy nuts". The difference between the 90s and the 10s is this conspiracy stuff is tied into current politics and it's almost like you're taking a stand on it.

This show should have stayed focused on MotW both in the past and these episodes.

Sounds like any return will be at least a year or more away. Smoking Man
