And you could tell he was partying HARD then, too. Probably coke and booze, but pills, too. Some of those guys looked to be on death's door in the '70s and early '80s. Some looked better 10 years later, but clean and sober.

Even not knowing anything about rap you should still enjoy the docu-series just from how well its put together. Hell I was more entertained by Jimmy Ionvine's story than Dr. Dres. Not to say Dre's segments were subpar. All of it is incredible. But if you're saying you're not into rap and may not enjoy those segments, the entirety of Jimmy Ionvine's story will keep you hooked. He works with all sorts of artists.
