This show was so good the first season and just gets weaker each episode.

I agree with this. Add to that, the unclear nature of the science vs. god reveal by Ms. Petrelli. So now we have "true blood" mutants and "altered humans" or what? They need to clear that up quick and define a difference.

In the future wasn't the conflict largely between the true blood mutants and altered humans? The battle lines are being drawn.

+1
The over-hyped "red carpet" season premier was the first sign that this show was going to suck this season. I've quit watching. I think it's over.

I do think that Mr. Petrelli was in that same picture though so maybe the writers have a little wiggle room there.

There's so many holes in this show that I really don't get into it anymore. I still watch, but it's so incoherent and sloppy at times that I really can't buy into the whole plot line
I said this exact same thing here last year, and got blasted. I'm glad to see there are more that agree with me.
I just watch it for the purtty girls and the blood

in regards to the sylar super hearing question. if you watch sylar's movements as the scene progresses, it seems as though he's trying to use the super hearing power. it takes him a while to get his powers back. he didn't just get them back. In a nutshell. i think that that scene might've been him restoring that power by trying to use it, even though there were no effects to indicate so.
just a theory.
just a theory.
