I could give a crap about the book. I am talking about a movie. I never read the book. I saw Omega Man as a kid and saw Legend as an adult and realized they were one in the same as far as the plot goes.
Liked them both. Maybe Ill discuss it more at my book of the month club.

Dude, my only point is that I am Legend really isn't a remake of Omega Man. Simple as that. I don't care that you haven't read the book and am not trying to get you to read it.
Just correcting an inaccuracy. I am Legend, Omega Man, and an even earlier film The Last Man on Earth are all based off of the novel I am Legend. So it isn't like the Last Man on Earth was the original and Omega Man and I am Legend were remakes of it.

the movie was stupid more because they completely fricked up the ending and what the title of the movie is actually supposed to mean IMHO
