Bear stages a lot of what he does, but he does give better advice than Les.

Les basically starves for 7 days and walks around telling storied about how he once heard blah blah blah.

I give more credit to Les since he does those insane walking away shots and then goes back to get his camera.

Dude loves nature, though. Didn't honeymoon with his wife, but lived in the Canadian outdoors homeless, living off the land for like 2 years. Wife must be a beast, too.

close, his honeymoon was doing all that, but with his wife. They did it for a year I believe, and only using stone age technology, no metal tools.

from wiki:

They married in 1994 and together left for a year-long honeymoon in the remote Wabakimi area of Ontario which was to become the basis of the documentary Snowshoes and Solitude

since these threads always comes to les vs bear, I'll agree you could argue bear's show is more entertaining because of all the crazy dumb shite he does, but I'd much rather trust les and actually like his show more. Man vs Wild is like the 'outdoors' version of Jackass.

bear would make les his bitch

I'm sure he would. Bear has always seemed a brokeback and you know those SAS guys must get pretty close out there in the woods.

Les is a flaming **** that just talks about his feelings for an hour. But hey, what can you expect, he is Canadian afterall.

Naming your son Les is practically begging him to be a homosexual. You might as well just go the extra mile and add the "lie" to the end of it. And to prove my point I will reveal the biggest fig of all....Les Miles
