I grew up watching Roger Moore and For your Eyes is my favorite so he is my personal #1. Sean Connery is the actual #1 because he is the original.

Connery in FRWL, Dr. No and Goldfinger is a cartoon character? When the movie follows the text to a large degree, outside of making SMERSH into an international cabal?

Supposedly when Connery quit they had auditions for potential Bonds and Lazenby actually punched stuntmen during the screentest. The dude liked to drink, travel, and bed women. He was the real life James Bond.
