Jeffry Tombar was in Whole Foods on Jefferson a couple of years back. I walked by and said "there's always money in the bannana stand". He looked up and said "Please, no touching"

This may be the winner now.

Charles Barkley - super nice, crossed the room just to shake her hand and say hello, for no other reason than just to be nice

Had the same experience a few years ago in Bham. My friends and I were at the Tavern at the Summit eating. It was the weekend of the Brunos Memorial Tournament which is a Champions Tour event played nearby. Charles was usually in town each year for the tournament being that he plays in the pro am and is from nearby Leeds. He came in by himself and sat at the booth next to us and just chatted with us for a while. The group he was meeting up with eventually showed up and he had a table of about 8 people with him. It's the first time I've ever seen his wife

One more to add that I can't believe I forgot. Spike Lee is the most stuck up and douchey person I have ever met. Just a horrible, angry little man.

Micheal PS Hayes asked me for a ride to DFW airport. I told him sorry, I am going the other way.

I accidentally knocked Jim Thome into a urinal while drinking with the Cleveland Indians. He didn't get mad.

Brees and Jimmy Fallon were awesome. Just genuinely nice guys that engaged me in conversation. Costner, Queen Latifa, Jessica Simpson, Andy Dick, and Shaq were all really cool.

Ashton Kutcher is a dick though. I didn't have any desire to meet him, but when he was in town several people said he was a douche.

My aunt went to knock on her unknown new neighbor's door to give them some cookies and say hi.

Kevin Costner answers the door. He didn't know people did that sort of thing in the South. She said he was a perfectly normal nice guy.

Jerry O'Connell--maybe my favorite man I've ever met...he and his friends invited me to be their token girl at their bachelor party. I drank with them for 7 hours and then met them DT. He is AWESOME.

Danny Devito--super sweet and he called me cutie!!

Christian Bale--met him at the Arcade Fire afterparty at ACL last year. I was petrified to talk to him because I thought he might make me cry, but he was actually really polite (although not warm and fuzzy) and very gracious. He took a picture with me and everything :)

Jason Mraz--thought he was kind of a dick at first, but once we got him out of the bar and away from people trying to take pictures, he was really fun.

Josh Lucas--met him at a SXSW movie release party last year...his producer asked me to come party with them at the W and I ended up hanging out/shacking in his suite. REALLY nice guy but he could have just been trying to get in my pants . We have actually been in touch since them which is kind of cool.

Willie Nelson!!--I got to be onstage with him and EVERYTHING! He is super sweet and adorable. LOVE HIM.

Chris Mihm--dates my coworker/good friend. He is super humble, fun and smart. Great dude.

Countless musicians.

And this guy's hilarious and awesome and a pretty good friend of mine:

After reading several threads on TD dealing with this subject, I think the consensus douchebag celebrity/athlete/whatever is John Cusack. Have not heard one good thing about this guy.

And - why is Steve Martin such a prick? Stories anyone?

I've read multiple people say that most of the time when people approach him on the street, he hands them a card saying "I met Steve Martin and he was very clever." without saying a word to them. I think that's pretty funny, but he supposedly does it in a legit a-hole manner and doesn't speak to fans.

And the Jeffrey Tambor story is great.

I could see this, after hearing him on howard he comes across as pretty quiet, shy, and reserved. Seemed like a really intelligent guy that's not a huge fan of being a celebrity.

Not much of a celebrity anymore, but I knew Bo Bice growing up in Huntsville, AL. His cousin and I were good friends. Back in 94-95 he lived with his granparents and we would stay up late smoking bowls and listening to him come up with new tunes on his guitar. He is a very talented musician and pulled the most unbelievable poon you could imagine. Last time I saw him was a few years ago at a mutual friends wedding.

Regarding their attitude, I expect the worse regarding any celebrity. As such, I would never approach them or talk to them.
