on on episode a few seasons ago they showed the original tape Kate sent into TLC describing a day in her shoes. At the end of the tape she was basically begging them to come make a show and help them.

Sorry, but the hairstyle was all I needed to see. I have never known any classy ladies to wear a porupine haircut. I could be wrong, though.

Yes I have and I still feel the same.
I didn't say it wouldn't effect the children's life with the camera's, but they are way past that. The kids are use to the camera's. The twins, I find not so much. And that's what I was saying by not videotaping the twins.
If Jon really wanted the cameras to stop, he would have brought this to court for his kids.
But he is just going along with it still, so he must not think it's much harm to them.
And about her having a sportscar...how about Jon having that white sportcar that he drives now...how will they all fit in that also? It's not just a one street thing here.

This stupid waste of tv time, was remotely entertaining when they were small. Now the thought of the lady on the show makes me want to puke.

I am not saying one or the other is better. They are both effed up for allowing this. She just happens to be meaner and crazier. Also, she is out in public more often, sans kids I remind you, so she brings it on herself.

It was cute when they were really little and not filming as much, but now it is just recycled crap that is sad to watch. I seriously feel terrible for those kids despite the fact they will have a nice house and college paid for. I don't even think I need to remind anyone that money doesn't buy happiness..or saner parents.

He has always, and still has a job. He owns, manages, and leases, commercial real estate. Also, his financial savvyness is vastly superior to Jon and Kate's.

And on top of that, they don't seem like self seeking fame whores. They went 23 years and 17 kids without ever seeking out a television show or publicity like Jon and Kate. And I find their show much more interesting..

I don't actually enjoy watching a husband and wife verbally abuse one another while seeing kids whored out for their parents fame seeking ways.
I thought it was interesting to watch the Duggars try to go on a month long vacation in an SUV. And the wedding thing? To me, that was interesting.

You notice they are obviously making more money from the show just by some of their recent purchases, but they still remain modest, always cost concerned, and focused on nurturing their kids...
