Zoysia will be the most expensive.

I think the biggest issue is getting warranty work done. Not saying it's completely voided but I could see the manu using it as an excuse to tell you to go jump in a lake if the motor takes a dump or something.
Looking forward to watching this after the LSU men's basketball shitshow.

Seriously... Everything they make is top notch. They're the definition of buy once, cry once.

Definitely going to get one for myself too. Really want a high-quality hose to match though, something like a Flexzilla or a US-made Continental, makes a world of difference when reeling back in.

Eley make a GREAT hose as well.

Pricey and in this case you get what you pay for. Well worth the $ and all their accessories are top notch as well.

Shade Cloth

Posted by Ziggy on 11/12/25 at 6:52 am
Anyone in south Louisiana have a greenhouse and utilize a shade cloth during the peak summer months?

If so, what % cloth do you use that still blocks out a lot of heat but still allows a fair amount of sun for growing?

I'm thinking 70% is the sweet spot but just curious what others may be using in this area with good success. This would be going over a polycarbonate greenhouse roof.

Any help, thoughts, or suggestions are appreciated.

Appreciate the help.

Also, what about those garden statues? Those are sweet too.

Thanks again.
Awesome lineup!

Where did you get those JBP?

I like the asian garden feel

I'm planning on doing one of these too. What else do you have in that garden? Japanese black pine?

I ordered it in June of 2021 from Mr. Maple according to my order history.

Was it a 1-gallon or bigger?

Looks great!

I have one. Full sun and growing nicely. Beautiful tree. I’d snap a pic but may be too dark this evening

The Baton Rouge is on the right

How old is your Baton Rouge?

Any thoughts on if it can take it without significant leaf curl? Or should this variety still not be full afternoon sun?

I'd like to know this as well.
