The Rocky soundtracks are classics. They'll get you motivated to head to the gym for a great work out.
It's hard to believe I'm saying this, but the soundtracks are completely underrated in terms of their impact on the films.
Without the brilliant score by Bill Conti in the first Rocky, the film wouldn't have had nearly the emotional impact it ultimately had. The fugue that's used as a way to portray the grueling nature of the first fight is particularly brilliant.

I used this as my morning alarm when I need to study for qualifying exams in graduate school.

Ok so watching Rocky Balboa (movie is paused) and Dixon gets up before the fight to weigh in.
Oh my goodness. I think I have a slimmer stomach than that.
What the crap.. this dude is the boxing heavyweight champ? He’s got a full blown dad-bod.
Great movie though. Good way to hang up the gloves.
Now for Creed..

I really, really liked Creed; it’s probably my second favorite of the bunch after Rocky 2. I liked the Pretty Ricky Conlan character as well, although his physique (like Mason’s) didn’t impress me.
