A friend and I saw it last night. It was very good! I would say it was almost as fun as GotG. Very enjoyable!
Spoilers....not really....but kinda...below...
For those who have seen it, when the kid is running from the plane and up and down the hallways, did you feel that the director was giving props to Star Wars? So many images and ideas kept running through my mind: Large group of storm troopers/SLJ's guards with the large white jackets and hats, the kid running after/away from group with guns/Han Solo doing the same, Princess being rescued by young hero/same, calling smart person for tech support/calling C3PO and R2 for tech support, plane docked and guarded/Falcon docked and guarded....was I just dreaming all of this?

Definitely yes. That and Moonraker. One of the cool things about the movie is that each scene is filled with homages to past films, some British spy movies and some other simply random movies that Vaughn clearly likes.
The McDonalds scene was not only comedic, but I felt like was a pretty wry way of calling back Sam Jacksons car ride with Travolta in Pulp Fiction about what a quarter pounder with cheese is called in France.
