I thought the govt baddie was David Selby, then I wasn't sure, then the credits confirmed it was. That guy's been around forever. Frickin' Dark Shadows in the 60's, for crying out loud.

I've never done LSD or dropped acid before but I'm pretty sure that's as close to a trip as one can get without actually doing drugs.

After reflecting a bit, has that odd Hannibal visual feel with some strange Donnie Darko weirdness tossed in with some Requiem for a Dream. And it's and X-men series!

I really dug it. May watch it again, because I had more than a few beers by the time I got around to seeing it. Great soundtrack too - "Happy Jack" by The Who, "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones, "Up the Beach" by Jane's Addiction.

I really liked it. One episode in and I have no idea what is real and what's in his head. I have no idea which people are real and which are manifestations of his psychosis. It's going to be a wild ride with lots of twists and turns. I'm really excited to see what happens next week.

That's how you know I've never done it.
The show was still interesting and I plan to keep on watching. I just hope it gets a little less trippy as the season goes forward.
