Heard this was an extremely controversial 70s movie about Diane Keaton trying to sleep with trashy men. I’ll give it a shot

She didn't try she did. Based on a true story if my memory serves.

Did this ever get a proper release on DVD? My copy is pulled from my dvr.

It did I believe. I saw this recommended on Cobwebs channel for thriller movies and he mentioned getting a physical copy within the last two years

Supposedly the movie often gets in trouble because of so much music in the soundtrack

Lol, Richard Gere looks so dorky kinda

I went and read the story, she brought home guys from the bar across the street, brought home a gay couple, trued screwing one but he couldn't get it up, so he got embarrassed and killed her.

Kind of like Requiem for a Dream.

Or extremely uncomfortable. Supposedly Tom Berenger said he had nightmares for a long time after shooting that final scene.

She was the worst of the entire cast in "The Godfather" movies. Her acting, if you want to call it that, was stiff and bland, like she was only in it for the money.

Her worst scene was when she tells Michael she didn't have a miscarriage, it was an abortion. I'm a guy and I think I could have made it more believable than she did.

Loosely based on the murder of Roseann Quinn.
Blu Ray was released last year by Vinegar Syndrome. Great print from the original negative.

The first movie I ever saw where the death symbolism was repeatedly hammered home. It made me aware of how symbolism and foreshadowing worked together.
Then I fapped to her titties.

Not sure. At one time VHS copies were selling for much money on ebay. I got two VHS copies from thrift shops.

Not the movie I was expecting.

Only the subject matter was controversial. The movie was pretty tame by today’s standards. Richard Gere has a lot of fun with the part he played…

I do not think I agree with that.
