Mario Van Peebles directs tonight's episode.
Also SPOILER for tonight.......
Alan Dale (aka Charles Widmore) is supposed to be featured in tonight's episode. I know people had wondered when we'd see him. But if this is the alterna-reality Widmore people will most likely be pissed.

I think tying Widmore, Hawking, and Farraday back into Season 6 will be crucial to the success of this show.

We know Faraday will make an appearance, so it should be good towards to the end

I agree. Need to tie the Ben/Widmore conflict in with Jacob/MiB.

Here's a link where Carlton and Damon clarify questions they plan on answering, and they answer some questions they weren't planning on directly addressing (They confirm our suspicions on the pregnancy issue on the Island for example).
Nice link. Thanks for sharing. Nice to know that there will be a reunion in the end. I figured this would happen if the alternate timeline holds true and it appears that it will. The people like Shannon, Charlie, etc. who died on the island are sort of half dead as the timelines continue to run parallel to each other and would either be alive or dead depending on which timeline is realized. I will miss seeing Eko but oh well, I guess that's life in the TV business. I'm really looking for to the episode tonight; hopefully we get some good insight into some of the behind the scenes stuff related to the purpose of the The Swan and Orchid Dharma stations and maybe even the nature of the threat that would lead to the destruction of the island. Was it the H-bomb or was it just that Dharma had drilled to close to the core of the magnetic field of the island or something else?
The preview for this next episode showed Ben hooking back up with Ilana and her team. I wonder if Ben will play a leadership role in anticipating Flocke's next move? Will they join with Jack and Hurley and has Jack made a decision about his role on the island? In the last scene in the previous episode, Kate appeared to be following Flocke & Co. What's up with that? Kate picked up a rifle and seemed about as mezed out as Sayid and Claire.

I agree. Jack was following Faraday's direction in detonating the H-bomb detonator during the incident which was obviously the key event at the end of season 5. It created the alternate timeline which could be what saves the island from destruction. The question is: will fate course correct by means of MIB's team to prevent destiny from being changed?

I think it was more of she had no other option. It's not like she could take the risk of rebelling against MIB after she just witnessed him cleaning house in the temple. She'll be along for the ride until she gets a chance to run, like she always does.

not really..she had a puzzled look on her face, if anything.

Oh Jesus sorry for the error in semantics.

Tend to agree. She's all about survival and as you say, she will split at an opportune moment.

Come to think of it, I believe you are right. Sayid and Claire were all smiles and nods in facing Flocke but Kate sort of had the WTF look on her face. :)

Kate is just in a WTF position. She really has no clue as to the whole Jacob/MiB conflict, and she is just coming around to realizing that Claire and Sayid aren't the same people anymore. That was also her first time to see Fake Locke/MiB since the return to the Island. Keep in mind the last she knew of Locke he was dead off-Island. I don't even think she knew Locke's body was on Ajira 316.

I think this might be the longest a Lost thread (with the exception of the season premiere) has gone before even airing.
