does anyone think MIB was christian and now is loche and thats why christian doesnt show anymore? also why christian sent loche to his demise?
I don't think that MIB (christian) sent him there to die, though he could have, I just don't know if MIB is that smart

he seems pretty smart/diabolical to me!

Who thinks Ben will die tonight?
IMO I want him to live, but I'm going with he will.

lives...till the last or second to last episode.

It would be a mistake to kill him this early. If he does die, I wouldn't be surprised to see him changed like Sayid and Claire, but I doubt that happens.

if he changed he would have to change for the good because hes pretty out there now.

I can see why they'd keep him alive, but I'm hoping they kill off characters throughout the course of the season, at least some.
Though an episode full of mayhem and death would be badass.

Christian couldn't have been MIB because he was inside of the hut surrounded by the ash line he cannot cross.

Anybody else audio fricked up on the enhanced version? During dialogue it pops ever so often

Mine seems to be fine. So Dogen was just afraid his balance would tip the wrong way? I figured it was because he didn't want to kill anyone else like he killed his own son. An issue Sayid has also struggled with... not wanting to murder anymore. So much for interesting character parallels.

I thought it would be impossible for him to kill a candidate. Does one lose their candidacy after they are infected wit da darkess?

thus why kate's name was crossed off.

He didn't seem to have any reservations about poisoning him.
I assumed that the baseball reminded him of his son and suddenly made him hesitant to cause any more damage to anybody.
ETA: Or it could be the 108 stitches, as one of you said, reminding him not to kill a candidate.

The guy needs a baseball to remind him not to kill somebody?
How about a post-it note?
I'm leaning towards

I agree. I was just preempting that argument.

Is anyone else's sound messed up on abc right now? It has a bunch of cracks and sounds slightly garbled. Every other channel I've checked is fine.
