were there some initials written near the chains?

I thought it was just something from the dynamite box... now I'm not sure.

For those who were complaining about answers and disliking the show. Two words:

You fail.

The best part of this show has always been the characters first. Tonight was a perfect example. Character arcs like Ben's are what make this show special.

Oh, and I finally liked Jack tonight.

Jacob definitely isn't the bad guy. Miles said Jacob was hoping that Ben would prove him wrong up until he stabbed him. Jacob is a believer in free will and people being good

Since when is anybody who they seem to be? Linus, Locke, Jacob, Sayid, MIB, and even Jack at times have all been portrayed as both good and bad. At this point I dont know who to believe is good.

Yeah, no answers were really answered today, apart from Widmore coming to the Island, but it was still an amazing episode. I am content as long as they deliver episodes this good.

Something is written there... all I can make out is an "A." If it is initials, it might stand for alpert.

Well actually, Richard ended the time loop theory in one sentence. You KNOW he came with the black rock now.

They also showed, more fully, that those who follow the MIB are trapped by FATE and those who follow Jacob are redeemed.

it's really hard to make out with the still frame I have.

I don't think I even see letters anymore.

i think the writers read these theory's and change the plot so that no one will ever be right.

would be less confusing if the MIB did not have the ability to look like other characters who have died. I don't see why that's necessary other than to trick other characters.

And I don't think the Monster thought that Ben would join him. He just wanted to deliver the message that they were on Hydra Island. And if those people on Ajira aren't scared enough, with a guy rising from the grave, their leader being shot in the face with a sawed-off-shotgun, one of the survivors leading a mutiny and abducting the pilot. They are in for a rude awakening next episode.

That would make sense, but with the way this episode ended at the camp, it looks like the series is coming full circle. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to do that if they were writing just to combat the fans.

I complained about not getting the answers that were promised, but this episode was da sheeit.

I also liked Jack when he made his move with Richard.
