I feel like I can wrap my head around everything, EXCEPT Jack's neck wound somehow crossing over into the alternate dimension. Going by what we have seen or can infer so far, that makes NO sen

just finished watching the episode and i think that the wound is the first sign to tell the audience that WHH. If you got shot on the island, you would have gotten shot off the island. If the island would have healed john's legs, his legs would have been healed by jack, or the other way around... depends on which one you think is the alternate timeline.

they also tell us about this by charlie saying that he was supposed to die. charlie nearly missing death because of desmond, or dieing outside the window. anyway you split it, the inevitable will happen. charlie will slip and fall into traffic, unless someone saves him, or fall on a rake. he was meant to die early, so he will. island or no island.

the man guarding kate hits his head on the suitcase as it falls during the crash, he hits his head on the sink during the fight between kate and himself.

The second plane they are referring to isn't 815, but 316

MIB (Monster) conned everyone on the Island into thinking it. Locke was never special, but I'm guessing the MIB endowed its powers onto Locke to convince others. Hurley I think is the true leader of the Island and Jacob is leading him to his destiny.

i would believe this, but then why would jacob have them saved by writing their names on the paper, as if they are special and can save the island

the same reason that he heals locke after the fall, or gives hurley the case in the taxi.

everyone has choices, but he is able to steer someone to a position to make that choice. being special could mean that they have to kill themselves. what if the last person has to swim down and turn the wheel a final time, but in doing so they die? are they special, or doomed? the names being on the list does not mean that they will save the island, but that they will make a difference.

locke was needed even though he led to jacobs death, right? some things HAVE to happen.

I wonder if they'll ever show what happened to Juliette during the flash at the end of Season 5. Somehow she knew that their plan worked, just not for them.

Not reading 29 pages, but I'll just say that last night was far more complex AND provided far more insight and answers than I thought it would. Bravo.

I understand Sawyer is pissed about Juliette, but he is being a bitch by blaming Jack. Juliette and Sawyer were on the sub. They didn't have to go back...but Juliette chose to come back. First to stop Jack and then chose to help him (because Sawyer couldn't keep his eyes off Kate).

Jack made a difficult decision (one that wa impossible to tell was right or wrong) and in the end they all chose to help Jack and Juliette unfortunately got sucked in. Not sure how Sawyer can put all the blame on Jack.

i think sayid is sayid. so far no one has taken over anyone else's physical body, right? i mean MIB looks like locke but he walked past lockes body and they showed both.

anyone else think the temple pool is like a fountain of youth or something? maybe thats how richard and jacob never age.

Sayid was def being baptized....

But it was odd that they claimed he would never be the same, just like Richard told Kate when they saved Ben

This is also interesting: MIB said he was ready to go back to earth

quote:

Satan is not confined to the bottomless pit or the lake of fire and brimstone at this time. He is free to roam in the "air" until Jesus comes back for His second coming. After Jesus comes back, Satan is then thrown into the bottomless pit for a 1000 years and then eventually into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone at the end of the 1000 Millennium Kingdom.

What happens in this event is that Satan is cast from the second heaven down to the first heaven - which is our earth. The Bible says that he really gets mad and furious when this event occurs because he knows he has but little time left before Jesus comes back for His second coming to throw him into the bottomless pit.

The Bible then says woe to the people who are still living on the earth when this event happens because Satan will then start to release his wrath upon the earth! He will first go after the Jewish people, but God will provide protection for 1/3 of the Jews, so he won’t be able to kill all of them.

The Bible says that he will then turn his attention to the rest of God’s people, the saints in Christ. This is where you get the 42 months that God’s saints will allowed to be given into the hand of the Devil and the Antichrist for persecution.

This war in heaven will probably occur right around the midpoint of the Tribulation. This event may also help explain why the Antichrist, all of a sudden in the middle of the Tribulation, breaks off his peace treaty with the Jewish people and proceeds to seat himself up in the Jewish Temple proclaiming himself to be God - and then starts the mass persecution of the Jewish people and God’s saints. Some people think Satan himself may actually possess the Antichrist at this time since he has now been officially cast down onto the earth.

sort-of

but "it's not clear" had to be directly related to Jacob's death

agreed - but, like Ben, will Sayid remember anything???

Friend I watched it with last night insists that the story is God vs Devil....

I dunno

Its def got religious meaning behind what is going on. I kept racking her brain about things in the bible. Could the others actually be angels? Or Alanas crew be protectors?

Im not that well versed in religion but as soon as MIB said "Im ready to go back to earth" she said, "He's the Devil"
