Thought that after Jacob was killed, the Candidates now become "protected" and can't be killed by the MIB?
Posted on 5/4/10 at 12:39 pm to Tigerbait337
MIB never could kill any candidates directly.

I'm all out of theories. The show is at a point where all kinds of shite can happen

I wonder what this difficult task is.

I think I know what it is, and it's really going to be entertaining either way, I'm sure.

Have you spoiled yourself already? If not, I'd be interested in your thoughts. Otherwise, please keep it to yourself.

No worries, I accidentally saw some guy post some future stuff, and **it happens.

I think it's high time that shite hits the fan. Let's see some death and destruction.
I can't wait to see MIB show his bad azz skills (based upon the previews after the last episode).

I'd love to see some superpower stuff between MIB, Desmond, and Jack (who seems to be the next Jacob to come). Like lightning bolts coming out of the smoke, or Jacob becoming a huge giant like the statue.

I am as well. The only theory I have left is the sideflashes are kinda fricked up flashforwards to where they do something or make some sort of deal to where they get their lives that way in the sideflashes, but they mostly retain their physical bodies (aside from the dead people of course). The sideflash timeline would also technically start when 815 passed over the Island. So it would explain the bullet graze on Jack's neck, Jack's appendectomy scar, and Sun's knot on her head. And even though I think this theory is wrong, its my only guess.

Here's some more news from the producers:
1) There will be no more LOST Promos or Sneak Peeks.
2) LOST is completely finished today. All shooting, editing, scoring, and everything else about the series has been completed.

So all the dead people would be brought back to life if that's the case. How does ellouise know what's going on in that timeline? Just still a lot of missing pieces.

She'd still be alive in both timelines to where she could know what was going on. And my theory is rocky at best at this point.

I re-watched the scene where Desmond and Jack first met at the stadium. I remember thinking at the time that there was something to Desmond saying "see ya in another life" but this whole encounter seems a lot like what Desmond is doing in the alternate time line.

Yeah it does, just like he tells Jack to "lift it up," and when Ruth tells Desmond "well it's a good thing a bloody Shepard didn't save ya" when he comes back to see Teresa.
Also, I think it is plausible that island Desmond (with the ring) was on the plane rather than alt Desmond, with alt Desmond showing up at LAX to pick up island Desmond's bag and beginning his mission (which began with the EM event). Either that, or both Desmonds were on that plane in LAX alt timeline.

Henry Ian Cussick has come out and said it was a continuity error and he was wearing his own wedding ring in the scene. Guess no one on set thought about it.

Yeah, I think Elie devoted her life to understanding things after she was presented Daniel's plan by Jack. Somehow she knows what's going to happen in both timelines up until the point where she had Daniel sent back to the island knowing full well what would happen (remember the hospital scene where she spoke to Penny after Desmond had been shot). She says she doesn't know what is going to happen next for the first time.
