Dammit Jack. FLocke tricked you into carrying that pack onto the sub. Did you not know what was inside? I guess he thought first aid equipment was on it, based on what he told people to get when Kate was in the sub after being shot.

Actually, Locke only wanted to kill Jack because he was staying behind. He didn't expect Jack to get on the Sub.
