You have to admit you were happy when Micheal blew up. Most annoying TV character I've seen in a long long time.

"Henry Gale" telling Locke & Jack what he would do if he were one of them. Setting Sayid, Charlie, and Anna Lucia up for an ambush.

Sayid telling Charlie about the man being held in the hatch, and why he tortured him.

When Micheal dies

When Shannon dies

When Anna Lucia dies

Me too. Is the poster that posted that it wasn't an impressive time, happen to be non-white? And yes, it makes a difference.

It is time to shut down all oil and gas activity off of the LA coast until Louisiana receives a significantly greater share of revenues from offshore oil/gas activity
That's pretty fricking brilliant, And what pray-tell will you tell all the people currently employed offshore in Louisiana? Try thinking, it's a good thing.

You would think with the last name of WOLF I would have figured that out

You can't live in prosperity AND expect to have a Sea World-esque Utopia.
EXACTLY! I don't hate wildlife at all, but with the luxuries we have in an advanced society the by products sometimes will be unfortunate. We must do what we can to prevent them, but sadly that is not always the case.
quote:

Pretty narrow perspective you have there.
My perspective is narrow because I value human life and jobs over sea tutles? If that makes my perspective narrow, then I'm happy to have a narrow perspective.
quote:

why do you hate animals ?
I don't, I just have perspective and know what's really important.
quote:

This thread just happens to be about endangered wildlife.
I understand, but I think we can all get ready for sea turtle deaths and oil covered birds as propaganda. I just hope we don't lose sight of the most important impact of this incident. Nevertheless the wildlife deaths will be tragic.
quote:

I guess people haven't come to terms with the fact that a lot of marine wildlife is going to die, and quickly.
The problem is that reactionaries will only point to wildlife in this incident. When in fact the most important things are 11 people died, economic impact and jobs. Perspective is needed.
11 people dead and job losses>however many sea turtles

Also, here this is from the USPS website. LINK Do you ever get tired of being beaten down on this Board?

Are you aware of the actual statistics for delivery?
Probably not. Pick another topic. USPS is quite efficient.
Try again.
Perhaps you should try again. Note: This report is from YOUR beloved Government. LINK
quote:

USPS’s financial condition has continued to deteriorate in the first 5 months
of fiscal year 2009 and USPS expects its financial condition to continue
deteriorating for the rest of the fiscal year
quote:

In addition, USPS projects its financial difficulties will continue in fiscal year
2010 and result in an even greater cash shortfall. USPS’s most immediate
challenge is to dramatically reduce costs fast enough to meet its financial
obligations. USPS has proposed that Congress give it financial relief of $25
billion over 8 years by changing the statutory mandate for funding its retiree
health benefits. GAO recognizes the need for immediate financial relief, but
prefers 2-year relief so that Congress can determine what further actions are
needed. It is not clear that either option would be sufficient because USPS
projects it will operate on a thin margin, risking a larger cash shortfall if it
does not meet its ambitious cost-cutting goals, mail volume declines more
than projected, or unexpected costs materialize, such as fuel cost increases.

just offshore drilling.
So, for the record, you are saying you want the United States government to seize control of something complex like the Offshore Drilling Industry when they can't efficiently handle something simple like delivering the mail?

I am thoroughly convinced that you are the dumbest son-of-a-bitch in the United States. How in the Hell have you survived as long as you have? You must live in an Assisted Care Facility.

ETA: Do you even know what sovereign means? Or was that just the "word of the day" at the Facility, and using it makes you sound smart.
