Henry: "I'm going to look into their funding...I'll call Jim...I'll call...hell, I'll just call Rocky's office."
I swear, Henry constantly trying to show everyone how big his dick is gets really tiresome.

Love little details like Don reading the Godfather
It's a quick read. First time I read it, I read it in a day and a half. You just can't put it down.

bettys letter was very poignant on mothers day.

What about Roy from "The Office" treating Don like that.

This episode was Pete's finale. Maybe Betty's too. Next week will focus on don, Peggy and roger. Maybe Joan and Sally if what we've seen for them wasn't the last.
They did drop a line in about Joan having "cashed in" so I think that it might be it for her on the show. Not much else to do with her story-line at this point.
And for those up-thread complaining about Betty, I actually think they handled that fine. She was definitely true to her character in the way she handled it - foregoing therapy and giving Sally detailed instructions on what dress she wanted to be buried in and how she wanted her hair done.
Not sure how I feel about Don giving a start to that amateur con man. Don himself said the kid had lousy instincts for a con man. Enjoyed the rest of the Don story though.

I actually sense some relief from the perpetually unhappy Betty.

Good post, agree completely about the con man and car but I think the intent there was to show dons disconnect the don draper persona in general and less with his confidence in this kid. He's returning to his true self, as the dream sequence foreshadowed

Pete, Betty, Henry, and Duck are done.
Don, Peggy, and Roger next week.
I am starting to buy into the DB Cooper theory.

Great episode. I agree that could have been the finale
So what's everyone's predictions for next week?
I think don comes back and him and roger go start something.
Anyone ever seen someone so excited to move to Wichita? Lol

Minus the 70 page interlude on vaginatighening, it's a pretty quick read.

Don is going to have to come back for his two kids since Betty is a goner.

Don ain't coming back.

Don...sets his CO in Korea on fire! Wtf

Man Betty had become the second most likeable character other than Peggy. That was bullshite.
I didn't like this episode, I found it very boring.
I'm glad Pete got back together with Trudy but what a fricking downer episode. And I don't like this Don driving around the country shite. Why would he go west to Wyoming and then back east and then back west?

I'm not sure how I feel right now. I can't really decide either way. I kinda feel sick to my stomach about lots of it honestly though. I don't really understand how Don and Peggy's relationship has had so little coverage this last half season when it was one of the biggest parts of the show. If Don never talks to Peggy again, I will be bummed. What was the last conversation they had? I can't even remember.

I'm kind of bummed out about Betty's cancer. I think Henry will be lost without her. Wished Don would've have banged the motels owner wife or just punched him in the face as he told him he wasn't paying for the room.

frick Henry. I hope he's lost.

If Matthew Weiner's goal for this last half season was to make the audience feel anxious and unsettled, he's done a fricking bang up job.
Anyone else catch that Gene is now being played by the twin boys who played Abel on "Sons of Anarchy"?
Thank goodness he doesn't get to "act" on this show because he's fricking terrible.
I have NO CLUE where this will all end up but I'm going to be madder than a wet hen if we don't get some kind of in person closure with Don/Roger, Don/Peggy, and Don coming back to be there for his kids.
This whole back half of this season just has me all discombobulated.

It was when Pete was mad at Peggy and Don took up for Peggy.
There's nothing they can do in the finale that will ever make me like season 7. Season 7 was Jordan on the Wizards.
