When they introduced the “new” beekeeper I just couldn’t anymore….it’s the second worst thing I’ve ever seen Statham do. The worst is some B rated medieval thing. That one was so bad I can’t even remember the name of it.

It was exactly the type of mindless action flick I expected and I enjoyed it.

That’s actually a good question…not sure what I expected….but a wild haired bitch with high heeled boots killing everything in sight seemed somehow too much. Even for that type of movie.

I didn't know what it was so I read the description for it which I found pretty funny. It was something like "guy gets dragged into a revenge plot when his neighbor falls for a phishing scheme"

I watched it the other night. Certainly better than the Mechanic. Not a great plot by any means. You know what you are getting with a Jason Statham movie. Same old one liners. shite being blown up. “Professionals” who suck at their job. Someone who over acts ( in this case the FBI agent who was the daughter).

Completely agree. She over acted and was all over the place. Felt her character was written by 5 different people. The acting was very bad. That is saying something for this type of movie.

This. Chicks acting was horrible. Ruined the movie for me. I found the rest of it alright. It got really high ratings on amazon, so I figured it might be worth a shot. I'd give it 3.5/5

Just because mindless and action doesn't mean it shouldn't strive to be good. Mindless action doesn't get a pass. Mystery Science awaits The Beekeeper, at least to erase the boring and banal and apparent lack of script.
