Hank? That dude is the man. Instead of a crown that dude is getting greeted at the pearly gates with some high value minerals.
Hank is my favorite character in the show, hands down. and he definitely wasnt a fake tough guy. he was definitely a big talker and put on a bit of a show sometimes, but he was also the real deal. he didnt have panic attacks when the going got rough, he had PTSD from getting fricking shot in a gunfight that he won.

Hank was a moron for not bringing that evidence into the DEA as soon as he confronted Walt in the garage.
What evidence? The Walt Whitman book? He first tried to confront Skyler for a witness but she didn’t buy in. He had nothing and Walt knew it.

I interpreted it to be the show giving her a vibe like it did with other characters via colors, lighting, or style. Except Marie's never changed, while others like Walt and Skylar did.
Well, the classic connotation of that particular color is: royalty.
So, was Marie a princess in her own mind, oblivious to the goings on around her?

All of his circumstantial evidence, and his conclusions.
If not then, he should have gone in whenever they got Jesse to talk.
At no point was handling it off the books going to work out well.
